@@k_balu-8104 You're misunderstanding the point that was being made with that statement. It means trying to appeal to everybody means your game appeals to no one because it's trying to appease a large and nebulous audience instead of a given, targeted demographic. You don't market an isometric CRPG to FPS players by changing the game to kinda appeal to them, for example.
interesting thing to note, that mention of "enhanced strike force" in the new MO sounds like those Chrome Automotons that were leaked. could be pretty neat
We'll see. Nothing they say is worth trusting at this point and this is still all just talk until there's an actual patch. In the meantime even with bugs space marine 2 is a great experience with actual difficulty that isn't just spawning 12 chargers or 3 hulks and 2 tanks and dozens of devastators plus a strider and gunship while taking away your ammo. Man says scaling difficulty up is easier, fascinating, how'd they fuck it up so bad then?
If you could only seen what they did to it, i seen it's leaked model, its nothing like the Liberator anymore, it's more like the Adjudicator, but lighter
Man, I admire those who still hype themselves up for new weapons. At least 1/2 of the warbonds comes in pre nerfed or break current weapons due to spaghetti coding.
I'm mostly worried about how the other side of the balances will react such as saying things are overpowered because then that would only cause further confusion. The difference here is that you can choose not to pick a powerful weapon if they do buff a lot of things, but you can't pick a powerful weapon with how things are currently.
3:02 yeah so there have been leaks of a chemgun which is basically just reskinned and reworked flamethrower with maybe some new mechanics like maybe melting armor to permanently reduce an enemy's armor rating. as far as the armor goes, there was a leak on a chemical armor which looks a lot like a hazmat suit, but i really hope that this armor is used for missions going inside the gloom so we can maybe see hive lords added. ik we can't go into the gloom as of right now, but with this armor we might be. it would be something like helldivers will need the warbond to participate in those missions that would feel a lot like meridia, but with hive lords. it's kind of how you will need cutting edge and that 95% arc resistance to fight illuminate cuz i think they will have arc damage. ik the fact that we need a specific warbond and armor set to do overall really hard missions will cause some more review bombing, but i honestly like the idea of going into the gloom regardless. gas grenade was also leaked
I've said this since launch and I'll keep saying it. The way to add more challenge to the game is to add higher difficulties, not nerfing weapons we like. Allow people to climb the ladder of difficulties rather than being kicked in the face every time they get to the top. People have said that causes power creep I say good, Power creep is better than the alternative which is what we're currently experiencing.
Team reloading without the need for the other person to hold the backpack will absolutely encourage teams that are sticking together to use it more. Hell that in combination with superior packaging would be pure devastation so they should do it.
They're saying that fixing bugs is VERY important on their list of priorities They've got so much stuff they have to spread it over multiple patches that aren't one gigantic mega patch Glitch, did you forget that after that sample MO, we had free gas strikes? That was what the counterfeiters were making for us. Arrowhead is trying to make multiple playstyles possible, for the casual, the stealth gamer, the mil-sim-enjoyer, etc. Fun is important first, progression has lots of room to be expanded on in the future They can't just hop engines. That's like moving a company from an office to a cargo ship. Crazy different structures and things you need to lose and add. They've got beta testing going on, but it's under NDA's. Automatons are trying to get Titanium to make tougher bots, MO is to stop that. Defend against 6 automaton attacks and hold Imber.
The devs revealed they’ve been working on a weapon upgrade system since even before launch. They planned on releasing it with the game, but they ran out of time and had to keep Sony’s timetable, so now it’s just a matter of time before they come out with it.
would be great if the galaxy map will hint on enemies to certain mission "we detected alot of spore smoke running around these area" - implying main enemy will be Nursing Spewer and Spore chargers doing so we can select weapons / strategem accordingly and not randomly. like imagine taking low pen weapons only to end up with bunch of armored Bile Spewer spam
Just a wild idea, but it would be cool if in the future each faction can be used to farm a unique resource outside of samples (ie., bile from terminids and tech parts from bots) in order to serve as upgrades for our weapons/stratagems.
@marek011011 3 enemies and 1 biome is not a big update dude. This is not minecraft they need to put effort into the advancement of this game if they want to keep people playing
@@k_balu-8104It is literally the largest update the game has seen, what are you on??? 1 new biome. 4 individual super-base layouts (On the automaton side, dunno about bug) Difficulty 10 2 new Automaton enemies. 4 new bug enemies.
Would be cool to have a stratagem that we could call down and create a cloud of nanites that would hack bots and tame bugs to change sides, what i wouldn't give to ride a BT or Behemoth Charger into battle lol Just imagine the whole gang is on the top of a BT and just vibing lmaooo
Switching game engines would be very difficult, I imagine. Even if they found an engine that used the same programming language, and maybe even similar libraries, going through the code to update any and all discrepancies would be infuriating and tedious. Worst part would be that you most likely couldn’t start system-wide testing until literally everything is updated to fit the new engine. So the whole thing could be a futile effort, and you wouldn’t know until the end of all that work.
Team reloads should work without a backpack honestly. Obviously it won't add extra ammo, but it will allow for teamwork and added shots. Currently its a deprecated system literally nobody uses because of the mirrored loadout requirement. Even when you want to use it, the way Helldivers 2 does it currently is completely impractical. Allowing players to teamreload freely from the Divers backpack, allows them to switch off whether or not they have one of their own. Effectively being the same utility, and being something THE ENTIRE TEAM can take part in at any time.
I hope they finally address the resource cap limit, it really is hard to be motivated to play when all you see is "Good Job you earned nothing".Here's hoping they don't mess it up. I'd much rather have more enemy's than nerfed guns, maybe even further reduce the CDs on stratagems to actually fit this idea for real, maybe add one more slots for supply weapons so we can use shit stratagems more. And maybe stabilize the game along with a more easy way to spot samples in outposts and fix discovered locations to show as searched rather than unsearched when you clearly checked.
I think players should have the option to have a very easy experience or a challenging experience, not difficult. They need to understand this and figure out how to correctly balance the game, they've messed up more times than they succeeded in the balancing area.

@@KingArthur101 No they won't, quit the undemocratic yapping.
@@dankachilles9356 lets be honest, the blitzer is shit. needs a huge damage buff. infinite ammo is worthless when it does no damage.
Wow their response was literally "We're trying to make a game for everyone"....
So it’s going to be a game for now one now ey?
Oh really? Did something happen, hmm? Why such harsh changes in their course, everything was going so well until now.
"A game for everyone, is a game for no one"
Oh how the tables have turned, i told everyone since February that mentality ain't gonna work
Its almost like we all proved to them that the philosophy was flawed. Why crap on them for agreeing and changing their mind?
Man says scaling difficulty up is easier, fascinating, how'd they fuck it up so bad then?
changing the engine would be horrible, they just need to clean up the spaghetti code, talkin about 200 systems talking to each other
Thanks for keeping us up to date bro🎉🎉🎉
I'm just waiting for the AR-20L Justice to come out. That thing was great in the first one and it looks very cool in the leaks we seen.
Don't get your hopes up
If you could only seen what they did to it, i seen it's leaked model, its nothing like the Liberator anymore, it's more like the Adjudicator, but lighter
@@k_balu-8104it may change since it was a prototype after all
Man, I admire those who still hype themselves up for new weapons. At least 1/2 of the warbonds comes in pre nerfed or break current weapons due to spaghetti coding.
@@Saicofake at least they are still working on it unlike rdr1 I heard that game’s coding was spaghetti too
September 17 can't come soon enough.
If we do see a war bond on chemical/bile weapons, something that breaks down armor like acid rain would be great
It makes sense that reloading a 2 man weapon would be faster if the gunner also wears the ammo since it’s easier to reach it if it’s not on your back
Love what happens at 10:13 haha
Team reloading without the need for the other person to hold the backpack will absolutely encourage teams that are sticking together to use it more. Hell that in combination with superior packaging would be pure devastation so they should do it.
They're saying that fixing bugs is VERY important on their list of priorities
They've got so much stuff they have to spread it over multiple patches that aren't one gigantic mega patch
Glitch, did you forget that after that sample MO, we had free gas strikes? That was what the counterfeiters were making for us.
Arrowhead is trying to make multiple playstyles possible, for the casual, the stealth gamer, the mil-sim-enjoyer, etc.
Fun is important first, progression has lots of room to be expanded on in the future
They can't just hop engines.
Let the automatons have it i want something new and if a new strike force comes if we fail its because we didn't get the barrage
I hope it’s bigger than EOF. There wasn’t much in that update, mostly a bunch of reskin variants. Impaler was the only thing new.
I wish they did a weapons upgrade update where you collect samples to upgrade your weapons and support weapons/stratagems in different ways.
The devs revealed they’ve been working on a weapon upgrade system since even before launch. They planned on releasing it with the game, but they ran out of time and had to keep Sony’s timetable, so now it’s just a matter of time before they come out with it.
They should add a radiator backpack that reduces/increases laser weapons heating/cooling effects.
Bile fluid is considered explosive damage in the code, which means Fortified resists it. Just fyi.
would be great if the galaxy map will hint on enemies to certain mission
"we detected alot of spore smoke running around these area" - implying main enemy will be Nursing Spewer and Spore chargers
doing so we can select weapons / strategem accordingly and not randomly. like imagine taking low pen weapons only to end up with bunch of armored Bile Spewer spam
Just a wild idea, but it would be cool if in the future each faction can be used to farm a unique resource outside of samples (ie., bile from terminids and tech parts from bots) in order to serve as upgrades for our weapons/stratagems.
Whats with people calling Escalation of Freedom large? It was pathetic
new biome and a whole swath of new enemies is pathetic for you? ok
@@marek011011 1 Biome, new difficulty and like 2-3 new enemies ain't large though...
@marek011011 3 enemies and 1 biome is not a big update dude. This is not minecraft they need to put effort into the advancement of this game if they want to keep people playing
@@k_balu-8104It is literally the largest update the game has seen, what are you on???
1 new biome.
4 individual super-base layouts (On the automaton side, dunno about bug)
Difficulty 10
2 new Automaton enemies.
4 new bug enemies.
@@marek011011 we got one new enemy and reskins of enemies we already had. The new biome is also a darkened reskin of the swamp map. Not outstanding
As a Shenmue fan, all I ask for is an objective where we have to use the forklift. After the 60 day plan though lol!
I hope the next warbond is toxic themed. “Hazard Ops” was a DLC in the first game. Would expect my beloved Toxic Avenger weapon to drop shortly after.
ARROWHEAD!!!!! GIVE ME AN ACID THROWER AND MY LIFE IS YOURS

They should add the ability to have a pet terminad with weapons attached to it or controlled to carry extra ammunition.
Like the baby terminand that grab for a saide quest.
Trained Terminids xD that's brilliant.
And it shall always be called “Steve”
Would be cool to have a stratagem that we could call down and create a cloud of nanites that would hack bots and tame bugs to change sides, what i wouldn't give to ride a BT or Behemoth Charger into battle lol
Just imagine the whole gang is on the top of a BT and just vibing lmaooo
Just waiting for the MO Orbital Napalm Barrage vs Anti Tank Mines II
Team reloading should be a mini game similar to how you call in stratagems
acid thrower was in the first game as well as C4, thumper 40mm nade launcher with burst fire
LETS GO CAN'T WAIT TILL THE 17TH LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM TO ALL HELLDIVERS
It’s good to see people roleplaying again. All i’ve seen is negativity the last month

Man what did they do to the flamethrower sheesh
I hope they finally address the resource cap limit, it really is hard to be motivated to play when all you see is "Good Job you earned nothing".Here's hoping they don't mess it up. I'd much rather have more enemy's than nerfed guns, maybe even further reduce the CDs on stratagems to actually fit this idea for real, maybe add one more slots for supply weapons so we can use shit stratagems more.
And maybe stabilize the game along with a more easy way to spot samples in outposts and fix discovered locations to show as searched rather than unsearched when you clearly checked.
Actually there’s a weapon that was used in the first game which was called the toxic avenger that Is like the flamethrower but spewed toxic bile fluid
I think players should have the option to have a very easy experience or a challenging experience, not difficult. They need to understand this and figure out how to correctly balance the game, they've messed up more times than they succeeded in the balancing area.
As long as difficulty 9 and 10 are still difficult it should be fine, either that or they add more difficulties.
Hunt showdown released on a new engine and they are a small indie company. If the game is too last the long run it may not be a bad idea a year or two down the line. Small crew can start working on it slowly during set times that way it can be ready in a few years
CHEMICAL WARBOND, we violating the Geneva Convention with this one
Hazmat outfit leak came a while back so i think the Hazmat outfit is going to be in the new war bond. I'm guessing it will come out around October 6th-9th
Huh, so they are starting to gain confidence and hype up the patch, hope they have something worth to back up the hype.
We need a toxic sludge type weapon, like a flamethrower that shoots out green sludge that slows and damages enemies.
There was a chemsprayer in the first Helldivers game.
I see how AH works
Tuesday the 10th, announcement of the toxic gas war bond, for Thursday the 19th
Tuesday 17th. Patch notes , we have fundamentally nerfed poison gas
AH; get out your laptop Shams we have an apology letter to write
As annoyed as I am with how have gone with HD2 so far, I'm gonna hold hope that the future updates bring some balance to the combat. I still want to hell dive with my friends.
What about a “fluid resistance” armor passive? %age reduction on bug goo of any type, and hulk flames (so it’s not useless on bots!)
Hey you used my armor in the thumbnail
"We Shall See"
It would be awesome if AH released another free warbond as the next one
I hope they give us more levels also cause I'm almost level 150 and that's the only progression system in the game at the late stages because there's nothing else when you have maxed out everything there definitely needs to be something else to work towards
We need an AoE stun pistol/secondary. This will make the other throwables more viable.
My team got ripped apart on CR7 on both bots and bugs. Not worried about "too easy". Couldn't keep up with waves with our loadout.
I feel like people that worry of the game being "too easy" are the same kind of players that run meta loadouts and dont care how any other player above or below their skill level are affected
what would make lvl 10 harder would be making every objective manditory
I hope these aren't empty promises, I guess we'll see on September 17th though
Day 1 of praying Arrowhead realizes there is no such thing as an "over performing weapon" only garbage and non-garbage weapons. With your support, we can halt the Ministry of Nerfs tyranny
🙏🙏🙏
Just realized the whole of the galaxy map is super earth controlled. How the hell do they rationalize the MOs like the mech and ONB where their excuse for not giving us these things are because of resources
Hoping on difficulty 11 we get the “boss” enemies.
Not playing until they patch
The tox-17 is coming 😊 HD1 memories
HD1 has 15 difficulties with cool names.
It’s easier for them to trip us up than make the obstacle harder and more interesting which I think is a giant rocket launcher in their fkn foot
Space Marine 2 is out. Time to take HD 2 out back and give it the Emperor’s mercy.

All I can say is, can't frigging play this game without any crashes. 3 times last night and 5 minutes in, game crashes.
I tried jumping on for the first time in a week and all 3 games I tried to run crashed
Sounds about right
Verify files or re-install.
I havent had a crash in about a month, and I play almost daily.
To be fair, playing SM2 and I have had last two games crash too. Online games are good but can't beat physical.
I play almost daily and crashes are a common occurrence each time.
340+hrs and just this week the Game crashes once I walk on The ship. No fix has been found yet.
Sun Tzu once said, "Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak."
I think Arrowhead took this to heart when they hyped EoF, leaving most of us rather...whelmed. And now, with this new update- saying it's nothing major, when actually it's a maxed-out patch! I sure hope so; can't wait to dive with my friends again. Just waiting on the fixes/content we need to bring us back in!

Based on previous updates there will be more nerfs and more glitches. That, I know for a fact will be the only things for sure in the update.
any news when the other countries ban get uplifted? many would like to play this game once again.
I had a little hee hee when the map vaguely looked like a wee wee.
Glitch: soo. We can expect our next warbond being themed about chemical weapons such toxic gas grenades.

Question is: do we get toxic gas booster that makes the squad immune to gas damage? I mean it would be really nice if we'd get that because many helldivers I've been with can't tell is the green cloud poison gas or just spore cloud 💀 hell i even can't tell if th green cloud is my made poison gas or just a spore cloud
Gas mines would be really nice too but I'd appreciate we'd get toxic gas barrage stratagem at some point in near future
