Do you have a video on yard machine carb removal, clean, reset and replacement. It seems the fuel has gone bad in my old '85 or so Yard Machine 5hp tiller...
Looks like you learned like I did lol. Had a cub cadet 147 that was sitting for years, cleaned the carb, and points but wouldn’t start. Had good compression and spark but still wouldn’t start. Pulled the plug out of my dads wheel horse and put it in, fired right up! Something about them not starting under compression. Side note, can we get an update on your old pickup? Can’t remember if it was a gmc or Chevy, I want to say gmc
Hi Mike I do small engine repair on the side and my first test is a shot of starter fluid in the carb. If it doesn’t start I do a spark test. If it has spark I check compression. Sounds like you have a valve stuck open and may be intake if it’s popping through the carb.
Would love your professional opinion on some pics of a ct70 in my area. Guy is asking $1080 for a 72’ with what I think has a lot of rust. It’s not running, carb is off the engine. Are you on Facebook as I could send pics through messenger or is there another way I could send the pics. Again if you have the time to look😁. Don’t want your wife getting upset at you or me🤣🤣. I just asked the same thing about the truck before reading your comment lol. Loved that series, it inspired me to start mine. Mines a early 49 or 50 dodge though
Nice video addition, not only are you helping me with bikes, now I can work on my lawn equipment! You’re a man of many talents. 😎
I’m good at setting stuff on fire. Haha

Well she runs and works. Nice. It’s crazy what you find sometimes. Thanks for sharing brother.
Mike, I see you have your favorite sweatshirt on. Just inside out. Some of your subscribers, will understand what I’m talking about.👍
Haha. Good catch. I usually try to have something else to wear, but forgot on this day.
I like those engines ( with controls on the side like that one ) on later models the contols were deleted. Good save, Mike ! 👍
Thanks!
That was a crazy fun cold start , sir ... bad plug that sparks well without compression, has fooled me more than once

@@jimkeeton4492 This is the only video I have.
Spark plugs will fool you sometimes. I have had bad plugs act like a sheered flywheel key many times. Good score on the tiller.

56 GMC. I’ve had other requests. I guess it’s time to pull it out of storage.
@@MiniBikeMike awesome! I’ve been thinking about that truck, it inspired me to start one

I’m not a good judge on value. I buy pieces of junk and my limit is usually no more than $500 on any bike.
@@MiniBikeMike OK well that gets me a ballpark figure. Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi Mike. I am having the exact same problem with a mower. Hope this works. Also, could you show an update on the GMC truck. I liked that series.

@@trail-tr2ql I also have a 1981 CT and a newer Chev shortbox regular cab.
Just saw the same type on FB marketplace by me for $120! Nice find👍🏼
I sold it yesterday for $100. 👍🏻
@@MiniBikeMike very nice!
Going to watch later. But you never finished the bright orange bike videos the last run.
