- Watch Byomkesh Bakshi's twentieth episode 'Anjaan Khooni'. Byomkesh Bakshi is a fictional detective in Bengali literature created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. He is one of the most successful and popular characters in Bengali literature.
Doordarshan now brings to you the entire series of this literary classic which was televised back in 1993 directed by the brilliant Basu Chatterjee. Actor Rajit Kapur played the role of Byomkesh Bakshi, for which he was highly praised. Ajit was played by K.K. Raina and Satyaboti was played by Sukanya Kulkarni who was the first actress to play the character. - Розваги

Actually main writer Sharidindu Bandyopadhyay wrote only 32 stories of BB. That's why this series has 32 stories in 34 episodes.

Thodi si chai aur bhijwa dijiye..... The amount of tea consumed till this episode by the cast I believe is at least 50% of the production budget, and every time I sit to watch an episode, I end up consuming at least one cup of tea. Tata Tea should make this program as their Brand ambassador.... that would be a first 😁
I believe more than the tea it's the teacups that are the main cast of the show. The production used empty teacups during many scenes.

The casting done is excellent in this series. The actors all look so grounded ...people whom you can connect with....unlike today's mindless series
The weak plots need all that pomp and show. These shows with a good story, direction and cast could be more grounded and still engaging.

Happens to me with all Byomkesh stories. Sunday suspense has an amazing rendition of every story.
Everything else is temporary but chai is permanent ❤.love the simplicity.

Although Basu Chatterjee was a very good director, his advantage was the brilliant story by Saradindu Bandopadhay, Bengal's frontline writer of tales of suspense.
First sentence ko correct kare.....although basu chatt was 'not' a very good director at all............
