Nice list Brian, definitely a lot of must need tools. Props on the impact driver. Saved me numerous times. I’d probably add a rubber mallet, magnetic parts bowl, PB blaster, ATF/acetone, vinegar and above all patience : )
You’re the man! I’ve been collecting tools from different projects forever but this vid definitely added to the list. Great video and I’ll be heading to the shop tomorrow
Great 1st list. I would add “easy outs”/ bolts extractors, there is always one bolt that doesn’t want to come off and this are great for taking stuck bolts out. Also a good set of Allan key wrenches and Torx set wrenches.
I think the term “good” is key too. Cheap tools can cause more headaches. Tempting to buy a $5 tool, but you’ll buy it 5 times. I’ve never had much luck East outs…I keep trying tho!
for sure....just figured id mention it for nex time you use it, by the way im just about to start a 73 cb350 project...super pumped!!!!! @@KeepOnWrenching
luckily my neighbor told me about the JIS screwdrivers but this was a perfect list. These are the tools I've been going to consistently during my bike's restomod. Only other tool I'd recommend which isn't a tool is EvapoRust. Great for cleaning rust off bolts and parts and easily reusable.
Hey man, I watched your vid when you did a rust removal on the gas tank 4 years ago. And I have a question how do you remove the rust from the liquid. So that you can use the evapo again?
Thanks for the video, needed that info. going to start a build. keep up the great videos
Glad I could help

Got a “products” version in the works! Patience. Great point!

This was a fun one to put together. It was tough to narrow it down!

you were using the bearing setter upside down when installing the race.....thats what the tapper is for.
Oh I can see that. Makes sense. Got the job done!

Live me some EVaporust! Thanks for watching
I would suggest a motorcycle lift to get it off the ground. It's so much easier working on a bike standing up...
Would love one of those. They spendy though.

I filtered it through coffee filters as I put it back into the bottles.
