Seriously, to all haters, why are you still here complaining? If you don't like it then go listen to the first albums if that's the style you prefer. It took me some time to get used to this song but now I just love it. Same thing with new Darkthrone, you can always go to listen to the old stuff if you don't like their new albums. Get over it, they won't go back to the old because of your opinions.

I respect the opinions but I don't understand those people who compares every new album to Nemesis Divina. Ok, it's really a masterpiece but Satyricon it's band which is always innovating. I think they got their real personality on 'Volcano', since then that's what the band really is. I like Satyricon's new fase and I love the new album and probably Satyricon won't give a step back in the past.

New Satyricon, clean vocals, slow tempo blackie-melodies... Sounds like (No traying to offend) kind of HIM or some tracks of Burzum with a good production... It's awesome... But still missing Mother North's days...
Definitly something new. But i like it. Nice to see them explore in different directions to grow. Although i do favor it a little more agressive. (could be my mood to (^^))

The reason for this is not its lack of screeching death vocals.
Or its distinct melody lines and harmonic chord progressions.
Or its dance friendly tempo.
Or its stripped-down clean intermezzo.
Or its choir-like choruses.
The song does in the best Black Metal tradition include an all-Norwegian ensemble, pagan occult lyrics about death and anti-christianity, and double bass drums. All perfectly trve. It's not that.

It is far better than 2000s satyricon and pseudo blackish bullshit. They are good musicians and Nemesis Divina was a masterpiece but lets face it friends, they no longer feel like doing black metal. I love their new album, if you dont, it is alright, dont listen. There are tons of great black metal bands to listen for us! Why the hate?

While I like the approach of adding clean vocals, I can't stand Sivert's vocals on this track. They just feel awkward and out of place to me.
