Satyricon (formerly Eczema) is a Norwegian black metal band that was established in 1990. It is today considered one of the world's most famous bands in its genre.
What I find interesting is the fact there hasn't been a single original founding member of Satyricon since the early 90's. The two most well known members who have the longest history and most releases of the band originally joined an already formed Satyircon.

The song is pretty obvious.. It seems to be about the loss of tradition because of greedy politics that think only about growth. Sadly its wrapped in a very xenophobic vocabulary, yet very well written. Waiting for a savior that speaks without mercy. Being against, not known if seen from norwegian point of view or european or fictional.. An americanisation of life. Bastard nation addresses multiculturalism and multi culturalism here seems to be analysed as not being ethical but slave oriented, i imagine people of all walks of liveand ethnicity working as slaves for the greed of the leaders while loosing their national integrity..

Hate to say it, but Satyricon wasn't exactly a household name, even in Black Metal. Which is rediculous because Satyr and Frost have collaberated with so many other artists.
