It so pisses me off that they threw this relationship away for olicishitty. They tried to rewrite the shows history to favor fefe and Ollie, they did a piss poor job by the way. As much as I love Laurel E2 I will never ever get over what they did to Laurel E1, just to prop felicity on a pedestal and let her take over the entire show
i really liked oliver and felicity as a couple, i honestly felt there was to much damage for them to get back together with his cheating, tommy death and feel it worked better with them just being friends. i will also say though i'm not a fan of two main characters like oliver and laurel being a couple i like the unexpected like oliver and falicity, which is why show like the 100 i don't want bellamy and clark to get together and riverdale don't want barchie to be a thing
JP then they should have made an entirely new show! Do not adapt a flipping comic. No one wants to watch Superman without Lois!!! When they adapt a comic there are somethings you don’t change. Couples are one of those. Flash is the number one show of the arrowverse because it hasn’t thrown comic canon out the window. Also Oliver and felicity were toxic as fuck if u want to use the baggage about Oliver and Laurel not getting together fine, but they brought in Earth 2 Laurel and could have started over with an iconic relationship that is comic accurate. Instead they stuck with the one relationship that almost completely destroyed the show. Also not to mention Oliver and Felicity have nothing in common. I shipped olicity at one time, than when they actually happened they were awful. Making her the love interest hurt Felicitys character beyond repair. I can go on and on about the reason why Oliver and Felicity did not work. Also the ratings tanked after they went all in on olicity. When u are adapting something that has source material try not to piss off ur target audience. Sorry I ranted! But this is all true. And remember I say this as actually at one time being an olicity fan, but fact is they sucked as soon as the actually happened. Also Katie is a WAY better actress then Emily and better than Stephen too

I think Laurel loved Oliver more than he loved her. He treated her so badly. He only acted as if he cared about her after she died.

the bad part in every show is they put so much to make a good first season so the show continues that it's hard to repeat that same thing in future seasons, which in my opinion is what went wrong in future seasons it started with him just knocking names of his dads book list which i think they should of explored that for maybe the first 3 seasons instead of doing it for just one

L'Oréal and Oliver love each other, but they did not create some because his betrayal with Sarah ruined that relationship, even if the feelings did not die yet between them because Sarah was the one who troubled everything that troubled the emotional life and in the end it was You deserve someone better than Oliver and Oliver. He definitely went through a lot of relationships and eventually met someone like Felicity

He told her much of the truth. He is damaged, he doesn't sleep, and we rarely see him eat. Most scenes with people eating he doesn't touch his food, he ate just a little when on the date with Helena. I always thought he could get a little slack from people if he told them he was tortured and showed them his scars. I know it would be crazy hard for him, but it was encouraging that Laurel didn't ask further questions after finding out.
Makes me sad that they didnt end up together. but then again this oliver is more alike with batman than the real green arrow so i just mark it off as one of those things in the multiverse.

Yeah thats not how lie detectors work. They're not magic, if the subject forgets or is convinced their version of events is true the machine can't detect that. So her pointing out they took a trip there when they were kids is pointless. Who remembers all their school field trips?

the relationship between oliver and laurel is the heart of the show and when the writers have up that relationship they gave up the heart of the show and since then the show has mostly gotten crap except for the 5th season.
