lisarm100 I think that you're worrying too much, Olicity is a big 'revenue engine' for the whole show, if you understand what I mean. Day by day people are getting more and more obsessed with the whole Olicity thing and that is a big thing for the show. So I think that there won't be any reason to kill the Olicity thing. Because it'll just harm the show.
I'm glad Olicity has a HUGE fan base. When I wrote my comment in May, season 3 was still airing. Now that we're so close to season 4 starting and seeing all the Olicity teasers, I am definitely not worried anymore. I am the biggest Olicity fan but I read a comment once that shook me. The person basically said Oliver Queen is suppose to be with the Black Canary not Felicity. Every time I see Olicity I get so happy then sad because Arrow is a comic book superhero not a hero created by the show. They could switch where the characters end up and with who. It reminds me of Smallville in the sense where Clark was in love with Lana Lang but we all know superman is with Lois Lane. Of all 10 seasons most of them is Clark with Lana on and off because of his secret then they break up, she marries Lex and turn into some Kryptonite hero that can never be with Clark again. In the end Clark ends up with Lois Lane, how it was suppose to be. I pray they don't do that to Arrow because so many people love Oliver with Felicity. They are the perfect opposites, he is serious she is a bit awkward and funny at times. Perfect blend.

I think Arrow started off on a great note with Stephen as Green Arrow & he looked good in that suit with Dig providing good supporting arc. Then Deathstroke as a villain was spot on. But I think Felcity is the one who lifted this series to a greater height & they built Olicity relationship with a good pace. It was going good till they had fight regarding Oliver's son. After that Felicity became different. She started to own Oliver. Oliver kinda lost his individuality. And people started hating Felicity more for that.
In all honesty she was right in the end. I hated that arc but she walked away bc he kept her son secret from her saying he won't trust her enough to open up but in S6 (or was it 7?) he did the same thing when he revealed his identity w/o asking her & putting her & William in danger
