I highly recommend BlenRig, Probably the best facial expressions rig. I dont use the mesh cage, i just weight paint the deform bones and that works better for me
I remember rigify in Blender 3.5+ has more features that will help with facial expression rigs as well. Not sure if there's more to it tho. But still, I am looking forward to get my hands onto new rigify

The installing doesnt work for me, tried the .zip and even extracted the zip. just doesnt install into my blender
3.1 or higher. Blenrig 6. Might be a conflicting addon.. idk man @@reudig123lol4

Rigify is very flexible if you don't mind the steep learning curve
