What a great vlog! This movie always held a place in my heart as it reminded me of my own career path. Like so many others I lived through an "Office Space" job. Back in the 1980's I worked in a job that made me so miserable I dreaded getting up every morning. One day I decided I was done and overnighted my resignation to the home office. Two days later the Regional Manager came in from Boston to confront me. I told him I was done working in the financial sector and that I always wanted to get into sales in either the radio or television industry. He told me his daughter tried doing that and she failed and, since I wasn't as smart as his daughter, I was going to fail as well. Fast forward to 2022 and I am now retired after an incredible career in both radio and television. Ahhh....revenge is sweet, LOL!
Right on and great for you! Though I don't know you, your story is grand and I'm very happy for you. So ... let's both raise a chilled champagne flute to salute your (and mine) retirement situation and then do our individual happy dance. Salute!
@@LesterMoore Much appreciated. It wasn't easy leaving a decent paying job and going back to minimum wage in a new industry but I kept reminding myself of why I was doing it. It took a few years and countless rejections until I finally got my "big break". I will always have the upmost respect for anyone who struggles as they work their way to their goals. A hearty congrats on your retirement!
Though I never saw OFFICE SPACE, your description of the various scenes had me in stitches. I'll have to find a copy of it. Jordan, I'm very glad for you that you broke out of doing jobs that you never felt should be your life's work and moved into something that's fun, fulfilling and one that uses your talents. Your travel vlogs are some of the best out there, and that's due in no small part because you are so relatable. May you have the best of everything in the future. Luckily I've had some very interesting jobs in my time and can say that during the final 20 years before retirement when working for a chairman of a film-industry-related company, I never spent a boring day. Very fond memories of people I met and interacted with. Feeling blessed! As always, give Jah a hug for me.
Anyone who has ever worked in an office can relate to this movie. I've had a Lumberg as a boss....and a behind-kissing co-worker like that waiter geek.
Any one in any job can relate to this movie. We all know a Lumber a Milton or anyone in that movie. I would be Jennifer Aniston flipping people off! I have that meme saved on my phone in case I need to use it! 😂
You passed right by where I live. Sending you and Jah a wave 👋👋Also, Office Space was a pivotal movie for me so I love this! :D The office building looks exactly like where I worked at my first "real" job Ugh
Hey Jordan ,You defiantly proved your fears wrong! You have total freedom to travel, and film interesting places in this land. Think how many Lumbergs are out there, dreading the daily grind . Cheers my friend!
Well this was fun, love Office Space. You're the best Jordan! (Um, Yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and ask you to keep up the great Vlogs, that'd be great)
Great vlog on one of my all time favorite movies!! Thanks Jordan!! Btw, I think the psychologist says, “That’s Messed Up” before he hypnotizes Peter… Too Funny!
This movie certainly caught the feel of that sorry office situation. Just watched the movie after my first watching of this vlog. Funny relatable movie. Great coverage of the filming locations.
My first apartment in Austin was just a few blocks from that office park. It was quite a shock to realize the place I drove past on the way to Sam's Club for cheap stuff was Inatech.
Love the video Jordan it was an awesome and it was nice to see a handsome pup name jah in the brginng. Thank you for your videos i enjoy them all you make me feel like i am traveling with to the different cities , Once again Jordan thanks again.
Tom Smykowski: “It's a "Jump to Conclusions Mat". You see, you have this mat, with different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO.” Michael Bolton : "That's the worst idea I've ever heard in my life.” 😂
Love this movie! Lord it feels good to be a gangsta! 🤣🤘 I worked with Stephen Root on Leatherheads and Gary Cole on Talladega Nights and they were very sweet of my enthusiasm for this movie. Also, John Krasinski was very nice and understanding why I kept staring and was more excited to work with "Jim" than Clooney lol! He was very classy and respectful btw. :)
Excellent fun Jordan love going on your filming locations with you.! Just got done watching you and the Woo at the fair..y'all are my favorite.🤟🌼okay off the watch Office Space for the first time
A lot of your filming locations, like this one, are movies I'm not familiar with but your ongoing commentary is so enthusiastic , I feel like I'm watching it. Another good vlog. Thanks
I definitely want to see this movie, I can't believe I haven't yet. I think my Sister has a copy of it. There are so many for this time frame I have never seen, but when I see you do vlogs on them I'm interested by your stories! Thank you, Jordan!!! 🌼
Didn't seen the movie but you had me enjoying this. Glad you and Jah got to see Breck. Breck seems happy in Waco and has done a great job building a new life there. Safe Travels.
I lived off Woodward when they filmed this movie. Great film. Austin was a great little town in the late 80’s , early 90’s. You should do places from Tarantinos Death Proof. It’s all in Austin.
One of the bosses played by Bob Slydell shops at Gelsons where I used to work. One day I saw him across the parking lot and I yelled I love office space! and he just gave me a weird look. He’s one of those celebrities that doesn’t like attention.I have the Initech mug and the red stapler somewhere.
I always thought the Office was in Dallas for some reason. I may have to make a trip down to Austin to check this out. I only live 50 miles away from there.

Their boss, talking to the paranoid stapler geek," Yeahhhhhhhh I'm going to need you to move your cubical down to the basement, that would be great thanks a lot." The laugh out loud moments were non stop in this movie. You had me lmao with your commentary man.
Hi Jordan, great film. I think we have all had a job that we hated going to, I know I have, and the relief when you leave. Nice to see the Jahster enjoying room service in your Hotel ha, ha. Great vlog Jordan.
Office Space is great satire on American work culture. A job is just a necessary evil that poor people endure to not be homeless. Always work on a side hustle or hobby project otherwise you might go crazy.
I started a job in Austin in 2009 driving around Austin , I was not supposed to be back in the office before 3 PM I spent many hours reading in the Initech parking lot on Friedrich Lane
Gosh Jordon you do exyremely well matching buildings, scenery & moments up. Here is another film I've not watched yet, but will now. Good to see Sir Jah relaxing on Uncle Breck s lounge. He looks happy & relaxed. Thank you again Jordon & kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia.
Before the pandemic I went to Baker Street pub all the time with my girlfriend at the time. I had no idea until just recently that it was a filming location for Office Space
Great video Jordan just like all the videos I have watched. Would you ever consider doing a video of the filming locations of Long Hot Summer with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward and Picnic with William Holden and Kim Novak? Thank you! 🙂
I always wondered about Tom's backyard. I can't imagine having that giant white tower thing close by. I thought it was built for the movie. It would be an eye sore for me if I lived there. It however made that scene all the more iconic...
A friend in grade school had a huge water tower visible from his backyard. The plus side was that there were no neighbors behind the house. There was actually a nice hill we used to use for sledding and such.
Office Space is a top movie, one that many don't appreciate I feel. A lot of us can probably relate to this movie in some ways, I know I can. I remember telling a friend about this movie. He watched Office Space, and when we met the following day at work, he sat at his desk and just looked around and said how he hates this place, and how similar things are compared to what he watched in Office Space 😂
Another great vlog Jordan. I was wondering do you plan on visiting Frank Hamer's gravesite while you are in Austin. Or doing a video on The Texas Ranger Museum in Waco?
Yeeaah, I'm going to go ahead and say this was a pretty cool video. I love Office Space! OH OH OH! Seeing those locations made me laugh because I remember those scenes. In the beginning of the vlog when you showed Ron Livingston in the car, that music popped in my head 🎶! 😆 My son is having a bad case of the Mondays today since he hit a wild turkey on the way to work 😳 🦃. Luckily it's minor grill damage. Hopefully you have safe travels! Love to Jah!
