What a fenomenal airshow showcasing all of these classic warbirds, cargo planes, and bombers. That C-47 formation towards the end was very emotional. Wish I can attend one of these.
The Corsair is very attractive in the early 1943 style two tone blue scheme with the red outlined national insignia

Pity it's got an Allison in it and not a Klimov. The Klimov sounds beefy and powerful more like a Daimler or a Jumo. Nothing wrong with the Allison though, smooth running ( P40s are my favourite).
The Corsair stole the show in that opening shot. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You Know ! For the Life of Me I Just don't Understand Why My Buddies and I Never Made it to The EAA Air Show ? We'd spend our Vacations up in Wisconsin Renting Cabins & Fishing. Lack of Information Perhaps ? I Would Always make it to the Chicago Lake Front for the Air & Water Show ( I lived on the Northside so getting down there was No problem.) And Oshkosh (by gosh LoL) is Straight up North !! Well I Ain't Dead Yet ! I'd like to do the Week there !!!
