Government is bounded to help Maldives because of geo political issues. Because it is possible if Indian government don't provide aid to them, they surely will get it from countries like China. And also investing in Maldives is important for India to keep an eye on increasing deterrence of China in the Indian Ocean. But I think as citizens of India it our duty, to boycott travelling to Maldives, at any cost. Remeber all those words these people used for us.
