Sweet Scary Mary, we're over the halfway point of the series!! Be sure to stick around to the end (25:19) and see my new outro, made by the talented Rangerreeb.
Oooh, I like it!
Thank you Lazy!

Lazy Masquerade for jersey do you think you could do a story of the jersey devil? Also, I love your content!
I love this series! I check every night to see if a new vid is posted
"Wrong house" well that de-escalated quickly
not gonna call the cops? Just let him go find the right house
No big deal lol. Let him murder the other guy, not my problem.
Parter Peeker I love this reply
Call the cops and you might make yourself a target, if the guy isn't caught. That's my reasoning for him not calling at least.
8:19 Oh okay, well, I'm still reporting your ass for going to stab someone else. 0-0
(Or he just didn't like stabbing victims in the neck that actually see him first and was making an excuse to leave, who knows!)
The scariest thing in West Virginia would be country roads not taking you home
To the place where you don't belong
No, it's your momma being an actual mountain
Zombie Bob Denver.....there to take you home.....
This is the best comment, hands down, it cracked me up
lol
Laurie is the best babysitter you could ever have. Respect to her. Rest in peace

If it’s real yeah. RIP. But it’s sounds pretty fake and illogical.

*"Wrong house"*
What an interesting turn of events
I worry about the people that live in the "Right House"
Was probably a hit man of sorts
Considering he was in Woonsocket, a high end and sometimes connected peoples favorite place to live, it was most likely a hitman
Am I the only one who sleeps peacefully while listening to such stories ??
criss_wylde777 you’re definitely not alone there! Nothing like an amazing narrator telling me horror stories while I’m dozing off 😌
i cant count how many times ive seen this comment
criss_wylde777 lmao I get to about 2 stories before I pass out.
Listening to a good narrator telling scary stories is basically my asmr
It’s actually becoming a bad habit for me.
You should dig for stories that take place in different time periods, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s etc.
I love this idea
You forgot the 80s. Countless stories from there, probably mostly psychotic coke addicts.
Unfortunately I guess he did not read these comments.
Uuhhhhgg dah penis. Wumpy
@M S Yeah, most of the stories are fake, despite any claim that they're real. There's just too much incentive for aspiring writers to pass off fiction as fact. One of the dead giveaways is, especially for the more bizarre or paranormal/supernatural stories, when the word choices and sentence structure are more like what a skilled writer would use rather than the average person recounting a strange story. One could falsely conclude that skinwalkers only attack people with good writing skills.
It's still entertaining to listen. Lazy is a great narrator with a smooth voice. I just think of them as modern campfire stories.
It seems like Laura knew who those people were, otherwise she wouldn't have opened the door for them. A logical person would've called the Police if they were unwanted guests.
Her mistake was thinking she could bullshit her way out of this one.
That's what the hell I was thinking!
Emperor Palpatine DEW IT
Makes me think of Laurie Strode babysitting on Halloween and she did the exact same thing told the kids to get in the closet
Emperor Palpatine Should’ve use the old *Brazzers Logo Appear* technique
Whippin out in a Tesla
That sounds fucking awesome, I love desolate stories
Nothing happens in Canada
Broken Wave Dude, in Ontario we had a cult up in the woods that were kidnapping people and sacrificing them. We have some weird crap too.
@@SpookyScarletShadow he made it as a joke because of the stereotype that Canadians are too nice, but we all know that Canada doesn't exist, it's a conspiracy theory just like Australia

n/a n/a Same, she seemed like such a nice person. But I guess she could’ve have another side
As someone FROM West Virginia- I can tell you... There's a great possibility that they just discarded a freshly killed deer head. Gross as hell, but nothing too ominous.
We're a wild as hell state though.
Same here. It's unfortunate, but especially around interstates and highways it isn't uncommon to see dead animals on the side of the road or like that deer was found. There's some pretty good stories in West Virginia, I'm a bit disappointed the story was from a non local who was already paranoid and shaken from his friend's death.
COUNTRY ROADS, TAKE ME HOME! TO THE PLACE I BELONG! WEST VIRGINIA, MOUNTAIN MOMMA!
@@futanarilordkudo1879 damn you beat me to it
xXxCupcakeAttackxXx Also as a West Virginian I was also a little disappointed by the story. There are many stories about moth man and cannibalism here. But also where I live there’s so many creepy and eery things here such as the Blennerhassett hotel and island, but also many unsolved murders/mysterious deaths
@@acelynnventura8015 Yes I agree. I live IN Blennerhassett and was disapponted that the Parkersburg ghost stories were overlooked.

Alright I’m New Orleans born and raised and I’ve never heard of this “bayou man” legend. I’ll ask around, but I doubt it’s a thing. There are plenty of legends and hauntings in Louisiana. Would be dope if you did a whole video on our ghost stories down here. Voodoo, cults, vampires, ghosts, we got it all.
Who doesn't got ghosts lol
I’m from Louisiana too. I’ve never heard of it either. Of all the weird things Louisiana has, there can be a lot of videos made on it.
👂👂👂👂👂
Glad I'm not the only one. I have heard some strange stories, this isn't one of them. Lol
I know this is like a year old, but I've also never heard of the Bayou man and I've lived all over Louisiana. I've seen a Rougarou but never a bayou man.

Can you do a whole series with scary stories from every single country in the world? I can't wait to hear 195 stories that will chill my bones!

I've been waiting for Pennsylvania, and I'm not disappointed. Thank you for the top-quality content.
Ang M. Me too! It was great!!!
Ang M. Same here! I’m so curious what city in Pennsylvania it was, wonder if it’s close to where I live or not.
Michelle Marie I was wondering where too.
Ang M. I was also waiting for PA, but I’m a little sad considering the story given was very depressing.
patsflysfan2 I was on the edge of my seat the whole time he was telling it. Poor Lori!
Oh my God I practically lived at snow shoe mountain! I spent most of my childhood on that mountain. Cupp run challenge is the race he was referring to and it's on cupp run. Someone died on that race in 2014 I think.
Sorry might not be relevant but thought I'd chime in..
Had a quick search but only came up with a few relevant results regarding the story, Found this article regarding a 22 year old sustaining a head injury in 2011,
www.whsv.com/home/headlines/OH_Woman_Killed_in_Skiing_Accident_at_Snowshoe_116167404.html
However in a seperate link its said CPR was administered for near 20 minutes, which casts strong doubt this is the same incident in the video however could be the one your thinking?
www.dcski.com/forum/view_message.php?message_id=62915
It's a small world, I lived quite close to Snow Shoe for a number of years.
From what I've been able to gather, that particular run is NOTORIOUS for being especially dangerous. There've been at least 4 deaths from 2001-2015 on that course alone, discounting the rest of the mountain/resort entirely.
While cup is bad, shays revenge is notorious for hospitalizations. Props to the snowshoe mountain ski patrol. They are good people
It's weird I never heard of that mountain I live in WV all my life so far
I’m ENTRANCED by your videos Lazy, so unfortunate I only found you recently. I’ve watched around 20-30 videos within the last day since I found your channel.
Ur actually lucky in a way, you have the ability to binge soooooo many videos
@@mrjth10000 agreed
Have fun binging! He's the best narrator.
One of the scariest things about the Snowshoe, WV area is the radio quiet...no radio, no cell phone, nothing. And it's so isolated...you feel like you've hit the hub of civilization once you get over to Richwood, a town of 2,000. It's a beautiful area in spring, summer, and fall. Winters are always gray and dreary and depressing in the Mountain State, and Snowshoe is no exception.
@macro casserole Because of Greenbank National Radio Astronomy Observatory.
My dad took his wife up there for their anniversary last October. He said it was like the Shining oss. Just the deep snow paired with the isolation. I've never been up there myself but I'd like to go someday.
@@TTt-666 I don't know, I've never heard of that.

Thank you for what you do.
I am a bad person, I found the "Hmm, wrong house" hilarious
WHY WOULD YOU DISLIKE THIS, HE'S THE BEST NARRATOR
I spent a summer in WV, got myself lost in the woods for a good hour and I swear to god I heard voices out there. A mile up from a road that was another five miles up from town, all private property and my then-friend had stories of Skinwalkers there in the past. Needless to say, it was NOT a good time. Of course it was dead silent, no birds, no bugs, no wind, nothing in the brush, nothing but a long-dead tree creaking in a wind that wasn't blowing.
Wrong house!

To the best of my knowledge:
"Just in the tree line I saw a-" = Stalker/murderer
"I looked through the peep hole/window and I saw him/her/it" = mental person/murderer/intruder
"A foul stench hit me" = Dead body/parts
"They kept circling my campsite" = Stalker/murderer/"creature"
"He/She kept staring at me" = Stalker/person that puts stuff in your drink
"I saw through the window" = Mental person/baiter/fake person/corpse
"Invited me into the house" = Person always has at least one other or more people to bait me
"The place looked abandoned" = Neighbours will say no one has lived there for over x amount of years
Random screaming when halfway leaving = Spotted and they're coming for you/Person Died
"I turned around to see if I was being followed" = They will show up later at their place near the end 80%
"Wait who are you?" = "Oh must have been the wrong house"/Random sprints back to car and drives off
"An unearthly bloodcurdling scream" Something related to native burial grounds 80% time will happen in the woods at night
"I will never forget what I saw and heard" = Read above ^^/something new?? :D

I really expected a lot more out of the story from West Virginia, & I'm feeling really letdown (my sister & nephew live in WV). My immediate thought was: "Was it deer season?", which then makes me believe that it's far more likely that someone was planning on taking the head to a taxidermist to have it mounted. Maybe they left to take the rest of the deer to be processed, & sat the head there in the meantime to drain out until they got back (plus maybe needing to get trash bags to put the head inside). I'm sure it was an unsettling sight, understandably, after the tragic accident with the skiing buddy. However, story is not even remotely scary or creepy to me as there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for it. That's just my take on it,though. Besides, after the story with the babysitter, the rest all kind of fell short of the mark.
This is a really great video series! Glad to see my home state, PA, here at last. Keep up the good work!
