Brent was my favorite part of this series. His love for the history of Cerro Gordo and the place itself was by far the purest and most genuine thing I have ever seen. Thank you for giving that amazing place attention and trying to raise some money to help rebuild the hotel.
It’s crazy to think that you guys would always say “what if it’s not the places we’re going to, but it’s us” and this just proves it because y’all weren’t even trying to film a paranormal investigation and it still followed you. It’s kind of like closure in a way because isn’t that the answer you guys wanted for the entirety of season 2... This is a sign that it indeed was time to move on from season 2 to season 3 (I’ll miss it but I love them both)... crazy to think Sam heard footsteps, doors opening, your car doors opened, random noises in the living and mine areas, the honeybuns being in the drawer, the hotel just happened to burn down at 3am between the time you guys contacted Brent and came there, and your tires went flat because like Jake said it didn’t want you to leave. Hey, I noticed that you guys are doing ghost town’s now for some videos and I have a video idea for that, my family has a cabin in a ghost town in Montana and I’ve seen some pretty weird things up there, the town is called Elkhorn it’s known for its gold mines and in the 1800’s when diphtheria hit almost everyone died. Every night when we are there I get a really strange feeling and I feel uneasy. There is also a cemetery about a half mile away. There are two big buildings that are really popular and have been standing for about 200 years, they are called fraternity hall, and Gillian hall, and there are a couple houses up there maybe 10 that are still standing. And there is a mine up there. Now I believe it’s haunted.

i watch loads of mine exploration channels from professionals. Those ladders are actually very stout and used often when explored. They are kept away from many elements that cause erosion. Brent just wanted to stay on the safe side. They’re just noobs after all.

I honestly believe there is a feeling of wanting to stay. Brent is proof of that. With the paranormal activity I like to believe the spirits might be trying to repopulate Cerro Gordo. I've been in haunted buildings where the need to stay was so intense that I had to force myself to leave. Its a feeling like leaving would be heart wrenchingly painful. Like an unexplainable feeling of sadness.
We have some of the oldest mines here in Kentucky & I felt that in one of the ghost towns.
I love this video set of Cerro Gordo.
It truly is heartbreaking that The American Hotel burnt down. The history attached was indeed something that can never be replaced.

Here in Kentucky there really is so much to explore, one of my favorite places to go is mammoth cave just to see the amazing caves and how they’ve changed. Every time I go theretheres at least one thing different (I go once every two years). I can’t remember the name of it, but the dam on the Indiana side of the river is such an interesting place to go and when the waters low, you can find all kind of amazing things that were lost by other people.

Go to Ballarat, Melbourne, Australia. It was a huge goldmine back 1840. It has a very large history because there was a Law that took place where goldminers couldn't keep there royalties unless they had a miner permit, so there was a war that happened against the police and gold miners and there over 30 deaths. This event was known as the Eureka Stockade. I have personally been here before for a camp and I know for a fact that it was haunted. In the room I stayed in there was lot's of Activity with TV turing on at 3 am, the bedroom door opening and slamming. And when me and my friends went for a walk at night there was a dark road with 1 light post that was flickering and everytime the light went off, there was a very tall man standing there which I believe was the shadow man. Shortly after that we heard a truck heading towards us at full speed and when we turned around these was nothing there and we turned back to look at the light, and it was perfectly normal. I highly suggest checking this palce out, it is now a mussuem type place but im sure if you ask around you could own it for the night. I highly suggest visiting this place after Covid.
