The Great Pyramid of Giza (also called the Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that survives substantially intact. It is believed the pyramid was built about 2570 BC as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu, constructed over a 20-year period. The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. About 15 of the 50 of us paid extra to go inside the Pyramid. Only 15 of 50 of us went inside the Great Pyramid.
