This is the coolest video yet! And that pilot has the coolest job ever! That is the only way to see the Giza Plateau. I was in awe seeing the pyramids from that altitude. I can only imagine actually being there. He has a bigger smile than you do.

Amazing!! I’m coming in a few weeks & they have an opening for one of the days I’m free but it is SOOO hard to book from the US!
Why is it hard? I booked everything online when I made this reservation, there was no contact with the company in person or on the phone until I went to fly on my scheduled day
@@Gventures I tried booking with SkyOne directly online but the purchase kept declining (I travel a lot & haven’t ever had an issue with an international purchase). Then I started getting Whatsapp messages from someone supposedly working for SkyOne asking me to electronically send cash to their bank account, which can’t be done with a credit card. Went to book with Holiday Tours & they didn’t haven’t the date/time available SkyOne had directly. I’ve never travelled to or made purchases from Egypt before. Do you find it a bit more normal out that way for companies to request money transfers vs credit card payments? Or does this sound a tad scammy?

@@cms21186 Uh, yeah, I don't like the sounds of that at all, and wouldn't trust it. Even if it IS someone from the company, they should reach out to you professionally through an email or something like that. Very sketchy. I almost feel like deleting the link for SkyOne in the description of the video after you have told me this. Like I wrote in the description, I didn't book through SkyOne, I went through the 3rd party. I did get a message from someone on Whatsapp greeting me and introducing themselves as a member of the Paraglide/Paramotor Egypt team (after I had booked my tour and received an email confirmation through the 3rd party), but they certainly did not ask me to send them money to any bank account, and I would not trust that. If it is legit, well they need to fix that and get more professional with their sales team. Thanks for letting me know.

Honestly I'm not sure about the weight limits. But I left the link in the description of the video to the company where I purchased it from, so you could check their website and see if it mentions it, or perhaps contact somebody from the company there. Definitely an unforgettable experience 😍
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS RIGHT BEFORE I COME TO EGYPT! I had wanted to skydive and film it but the next skydive isn't until October. For the added video/photo, how does that work? On the website it wouldn't let me pay that fee for ticket. Do you pay it upon arrival? Also for the GoPro they provided, do you know which model it was or if it has 4K? Thank you again for posting this, truly divine timing.
Haha, no worries man! I tried adding the video as well while paying on my initial booking and ended up having message the guy after they received my confirmation to let them know I wanted the video too. I just looked for dates in March and it doesn't seem like they are flying then. But you could try to google "paramotor pyramids Egypt" and see what comes up and check other websites. Best of luck!

Very brave lady. I was a commercial pilot and flight instructor for over 40 years here in Canada. I would never rides one of those things, not even if they paid me!
Oh I love extreme sports. I enjoy skydiving, paragliding, parasailing, etc. and paramotor was no exception. Lots of fun!

Definitely book in advance, as they sell out in advance. Because it is an event that only happens a few times a year, there are not many spaces for this flight/excursion.

How much does this cost on average as?
Don't I say in the video...? I can't remember exactly anymore, but I think it was around $160 per person. But I also left the link to the site that I booked through in the description of the video, so you could check that to get the most accurate, updated prices, and also to see the availability and make a booking (they only fly several times throughout the year)

I'm so sorry, it doesn't look like they are flying around the time you are here (or if they are, they are already fully booked). I also checked the available dates and nothing comes up for the times you are here. As I mentioned in the video, they only fly a few times a year because it requires a lot of permissions from the government, so it doesn't happen very often. If you ever come back to Egypt in the future, check the site in advance, book a tour and plan your trip around that. I also wanted to go at a different time but they were not flying when I wanted to go. Thankfully, I live in Egypt so I was able to wait till they were flying again, but I had to wait several months before I was able to go myself. Sorry I don't have better news for you 😕...

You will not be allowed to enter the country without the guarantee of an authorised tourist agent in Egypt.
He/she must be present at the airport at arrival .

@@Lovechild2423 No worries. There's still lots to do in Egypt and you'll have an amazing time regardless of flying. Almost nobody gets to do this, it happens so rarely, sells out so quickly and is not the cheapest thing in the world to do either. I lived here for over a year before founding out it even existed, then I had to wait months to fly because there were no available times when I wanted to go either. Like I said, if you return to Egypt, you can plan in advance for it the next time.
@@Lovechild2423 Uh, what?! That is so weird. I always get my visa on arrival so I've never applied for the e-visa. Where are you from? Maybe that has something to do with it? Or it is just a bunch of nonsense and can be ignored. I wouldn't worry about it but if you are Canadian I know there is some stuff going on between Egypt and Canada and visa stuff...but I highly doubt you have anything to worry about, that seems crazy. I just got back from a trip very recently and got a visa on arrival and had NO questions asked aside from "reason for visit?" to which I enthusiastically replied "tourism!" and was let in. Even without knowing where you are from, I wouldn't worry about it much
