Man, i'm speaking from an experience of like 3 days ago, reflect a lot on how your relationship is like with him/her, while trying to see if also there are some signs that may tell she isn't intrested in you like how is she feeling like at the moment or if she had a break up this year that may have been hard for her and also how quick she responds like it is said in the video. There are so many problems with online relationship, like the fact that you don't see each other in person very often (if at all) and have 0 experience living together, doing daily things together, you will never know your true compatibility.

However, it's always good to initialize transparency. This is a tough one!! I would say a lot of what will influence this answer is how old you are / what stage of life you're in. If you're a teenager, it can be very difficult to make long distance work because you don't have much freedom or ability to try to see them. If you're an adult that's able to try to visit the person and see if it's a relationship worth pursuing, then that might be different. But at the end of the day, I would say your best bet is to have an honest conversation with the person! If you're on the same page about talking but not committing to a relationship, great! I Have online dated more than once, and I can say that I'd rather meet people in person, you don't truly know a person until you see them for yourself face to face. That's just how I feel about it. I have a friend online called Armadyl. He was the first friend I had online, and we love spending time with each other. But since the pandemic of 2020, he’s gotten less and less available. I still get messages from him once a month, and he constantly complains about work, rent, family, and overall stress. I wish I could do something to help him in his struggles, but what I can do is limited, since he’s from another country than me. All I can really do is pray that he will get through it.
The only thing I'd recommend is telling him that you're there for him if he needs to talk to someone or just have someone who'll listen to his struggles without judging him. That's how I usually do with my online friends.

Having a romantic partner was a massive boost in chance of survival back in the hunter gatherer days and ofc it also meant you could reproduce (which is the sole purpose of any living being biologically) so our brains evolved to always search for a potential mate. It's a liability now (looking for a romantic relationship and then once u do have one u have to give that person a lot of ur time but since survivability and reproduction are no longer important, ur basically wasting ur time), but our brains can't help it. Here's to hoping that we'll eventually grow and evolve to suit our current society and the desperation won't be a thing in the future.
I wish I were impervious to other people’s reactions, especially when my companion blanks out of the blue or deliberately (who knows). Yeah, for sure it drives me up the wall however, it’s important to have thick skin and not let people make you doubt yourself or, even worse, humiliate you. My main advice for people who have ever been affected by the negative repercussions of their “crushes” or anyone else online is please put the situation into perspective. No person can understand the intricacies of your situation better than you and your crush. So, I would suggest you get to know them and understand their personality and how they might react to a confession. I think it will be an easier decision then whether to confess your feelings. Man, i'm speaking from an experience of like 3 days ago, reflect a lot on how your relationship is like with him/her, while trying to see if also there are some signs that may tell she isn't intrested in you like how is she feeling like at the moment or if she had a break up this year that may have been hard for her and also how quick she responds like it is said in the video. I reflected a lot on it and after confessing cause i couldn't keep it secret anymore even if it hurt a little bit it helped with the fact that she made me understand the situation and that she is a really good friend and understandable person. If she doesn't share the feelings with you but still wants to be friends respect her opinion and even if it may hurt for a couple of days, in my experience music and friends helped a lot to move on from the crush even tjough i still feel a little bad

It's also not about compatibility. My lady and I have things we don't like about each other. But because we're in love, we accept things we don't often like. However, it's also always good to limit it. For instance, I don't want someone who drinks alcohol. So when we started talking, I told her my likes and dislikes. If ur partner fits your criteria and u fit his/her criteria, both of u can move on to the nxt level of online dating which is where both of u take things seriously. First 3-5 months, both of u will be talking like a LOTTTTT of time. Then there comes challenges, and personal struggles that both of you need to face separately so you rarely talk. However, it's always good to initialize transparency. If you've shown honesty first, then there's a higher chance that your partner will do so as well thus increasing the understanding between the two of you. When both of you meet, it'll be VERY INTIMATE that surpasses that of the in-person based relationship. It's also a good challenge because it tells you that both of you can love each other even when you two live in two different worlds. Most relationships don't always work out when long distance comes in play. Would you wanna date a person for two years then find out that your partner got a job then you two don't work out? I'd rather start with long distance first. But then again, this is just an opinion. Not recommended for a minor.
This is a tough one!! I would say a lot of what will influence this answer is how old you are / what stage of life you're in. If you're a teenager, it can be very difficult to make long distance work because you don't have much freedom or ability to try to see them. If you're an adult that's able to try to visit the person and see if it's a relationship worth pursuing, then that might be different. But at the end of the day, I would say your best bet is to have an honest conversation with the person! If you're on the same page about talking but not committing to a relationship, great! But if one person wants a relationship and the other doesn't see that as a possibility, you might want to call things off before either of you gets more invested.

I Have online dated more than once, and I can say that I'd rather meet people in person, you don't truly know a person until you see them for yourself face to face. That's just how I feel about it. Never once met them in person and don't want to, so I wouldn't really try it again, I would love to experience it the way it has been done, by meeting in person.
Earlier this year I fell in love online. It was truly a devastating experience due to the fact that we live thousands of kms away. If you can’t meet your online partner physically then I would never recommend to have an online relationship, it hurts a lot not being able to see each other and embrace and all that.

Honestly, this is just something friends do. I've noticed that when I do like someone online my mind is racing with the perfect thing to say, yet I get too scared and end up saying something I regret. I'll say things like, "oh sorry I didn't mean to say it like that!" And I'll try to match my personality with them when I'm around them. I'll try to keep the same excitement. It's not just "they'll make time for you", because it's a lot deeper than that. In this case, online it's usually the little things give you signs that they like you

Signs that I liked them were: giving them more attention than other people, giving myself a personality that goes well with theirs, choosing to talk to them more than others, fake laughing at everything they say, and giving them more of my time. These can all be done when you have friends and don't necessarily like them, but these can be huge signs that you like that certain person

I have a friend online called Armadyl. He was the first friend I had online, and we love spending time with each other. But since the pandemic of 2020, he’s gotten less and less available. I still get messages from him once a month, and he constantly complains about work, rent, family, and overall stress. I wish I could do something to help him in his struggles, but what I can do is limited, since he’s from another country than me. All I can really do is pray that he will get through it.
The only thing I'd recommend is telling him that you're there for him if he needs to talk to someone or just have someone who'll listen to his struggles without judging him. That's how I usually do with my online friends.

it's hardwired in our brains. Having a romantic partner was a massive boost in chance of survival back in the hunter gatherer days and ofc it also meant you could reproduce (which is the sole purpose of any living being biologically) so our brains evolved to always search for a potential mate. It's a liability now (looking for a romantic relationship and then once u do have one u have to give that person a lot of ur time but since survivability and reproduction are no longer important, ur basically wasting ur time), but our brains can't help it. Here's to hoping that we'll eventually grow and evolve to suit our current society and the desperation won't be a thing in the future.

I wish I were impervious to other people’s reactions, especially when my companion blanks out of the blue or deliberately (who knows). Yeah, for sure it drives me up the wall however, it’s important to have thick skin and not let people make you doubt yourself or, even worse, humiliate you. My main advice for people who have ever been affected by the negative repercussions of their “crushes” or anyone else online is please put the situation into perspective. These people don’t realize what they are doing. It’s not your problem that they are badly behaved. Try to take it easy and better make acquaintances offline.
