Hi :) I would like to give you a peace of mind. If you guys have been friends for a while chances are he just sees you as a friend. Sounds like you like him but I'm not sure if he does. Just know that when a guy likes someone, they'll let you know. Even someone who is shy would get the courage to express their interest to someone. Regardless if she likes you back or not, or if the relationship would go well, it is crucial to have a base friendship "underlayed" (is that a word) so that everything is less _fragile_ . I had an experience where I had a relationship with a girl I knew quite shortly. Although most of the time it was going well, one mistake in hurting her feelings, and things weren't like how it was ever again. The reason is simple- the bond, even if it was a romantic ones, was too loose to be strong. If I knew her for a bit longer this really wouldn't be enough to break the whole relationship (eventually, it wasn't immediate); and even if it did, we would still be friends. It's also worth a mention that I noticed that when we chat with hours long messages I always had to go strategic so that it doesn't go plain (although I'm not good at communications in the first place... intp moment), which really shows that our relationship was quite hollow. And for relationships not to be hollow, it takes time. So the bottom line is, if you knew her long enough, and you two are close regardless of some uh, unclear feelings, then you don't have to worry too much on that; but if you aren't close friends for now, don't force yourself to make the decision within a short period.
If you already confessed her, that's already a great step for you to make, but don't overthink it, please. She obviously wouldn't like you if you're not so close friends and the friendship time with her matters a lot. I have a friend (lets call them Fred) who I’ve gotten pretty close with over like a few months, and both our friend groups ship us together. It originally started as a joke that my friend made up because I told my friend that I thought Fred liked me. I have this thing that if someone likes me, my brain starts thinking of reasons to like them back so I don’t hurt their feelings so my brain basically tricks me into liking a person (Fred in this case.) A girl started to talk to me on Facebook because she had seen me in a shared group and liked my personality and wanted to be friends. We started chatting on and off every day and sending lots of voice messages. i think its not that uncommon. specially when you sleep angry at someone. at least its happened to me sometimes. but you should search about it. be careful with the fbi so always put the "for school" part at the end of your search
Ok sort of related, but this seems like a somewhat related place to ask for advice: I have a friend, and have no clue if he likes me, or if he's just being the strange human being he usually is. Firstly, he's been my friend for a couple years now, so there's good reasons for him to be friendly. He'll do this thing where if he wants to show me something, he'll sort of put his arm around my back (kinda hard to describe). I've never seen him do it to anyone else though. Other people ship us, but we both usually attempt to verbally bonk whoever ships us in the head. Lastly, there was one time we were talking over text. He told me he wanted to test the honesty of his friend, by telling his friend that he likes me, and seeing if the friend would tell me. I said that I didn't feel comfortable with that, and that I didn't want him to possibly mess up his friendship with that person. He then told me that the "secret" to test the friend (that he liked me) was true, and I wasn't fully sure how to respond because it was pretty late at night and I was exhausted. I told him that I couldn't fully process what was happening rn, and he told me he was lying. The next morning, I asked him to please try not to lie or confuse me, because it makes me feel confused and I don't like having to worry about things like that. He told me he was embarrassed when he reread what he sent. (Sorry that this is super long, but I'm confused and it helps having insight from people who don't have an unconscious bias)

@@badunky7975 oml that’s happening rn to me, I’m a guy and I’ve been friends with this Vietnamese guy. We met through when I was in a kpop dance club and he’s in a Vietnamese dance club. Our groups joined together for a performance and that’s how I’ve became friends with him. It’s been happening since the start of highschool (sophomore) I’m still a sophomore btw. And I have chemistry class with him. I’ve noticed him glance at me a lot and I’d catch him do that and he quickly looks away. And he’s been I mirroring the way I do things also and I’m guessing he does it unconsciously. Idk how to feel because I’m kinda getting confused myself, because part of me likes it? Talking about not ruining friendships, I think it takes some time before it is suitable to confess. Regardless if she likes you back or not, or if the relationship would go well, it is crucial to have a base friendship "underlayed" (is that a word) so that everything is less _fragile_ .
I had an experience where I had a relationship with a girl I knew quite shortly. Although most of the time it was going well, one mistake in hurting her feelings, and things weren't like how it was ever again. The reason is simple- the bond, even if it was a romantic ones, was too loose to be strong. If I knew her for a bit longer this really wouldn't be enough to break the whole relationship (eventually, it wasn't immediate); and even if it did, we would still be friends.
It's also worth a mention that I noticed that when we chat with hours long messages I always had to go strategic so that it doesn't go plain (although I'm not good at communications in the first place... intp moment), which really shows that our relationship was quite hollow. And for relationships not to be hollow, it takes time.
So the bottom line is, if you knew her long enough, and you two are close regardless of some uh, unclear feelings, then you don't have to worry too much on that; but if you aren't close friends for now, don't force yourself to make the decision within a short period.
If you already confessed her, that's already a great step for you to make, but don't overthink it, please. She obviously wouldn't like you if you're not so close friends and the friendship time with her matters a lot.
I didn't confess to my crush her feelings yet and unfortunately I am doing the mistake to overthink my confession place and what I would say, which takes a lot of my time (DON'T DO IT MY G, talk with her directly instead through anything and anytime, don't say things like "you can talk with me anytime, I rly want to be great friends, I will always be for you" - real life is not a romantic movie, make favours for her to do for you and just take it as your friend).
It's hard, I know, but it'll be always hard and it's just an invisible wall in front of you to succeed, it'll not be exactly how you can expected, and that's the meaning of human relations

I have a friend (lets call them Fred) who I’ve gotten pretty close with over like a few months, and both our friend groups ship us together. It originally started as a joke that my friend made up because I told my friend that I thought Fred liked me. I have this thing that if someone likes me, my brain starts thinking of reasons to like them back so I don’t hurt their feelings so my brain basically tricks me into liking a person (Fred in this case.) So I still don’t know if Fred likes me, and frankly, I’m not sure if I like Fred back or not, but our friendship should be enough for now :)

A girl started to talk to me on Facebook because she had seen me in a shared group and liked my personality and wanted to be friends.
We started chatting on and off every day and sending lots of voice messages. She never told me outright that she had a boyfriend but told me about a "guy she knows that is cool" that I could probably be friends with.
We chatted for over a month and this weekend I went 2hrs to a festival and went to see her then too.
When she had invited me over to sleep at her place (on the couch but still, the first time we met she allowed me into her home) and during a conversation it came up that she indeed has a boyfriend.
When I got home it hit me and I have felt shitty since, like she intentionally didn't make it obvious and our chatting have been "more than friends" stuff imo and I feel so dumb. The biggest sign is when you can see them moving around you and glancing glancing at you time to time but just as you look around to catch their eye they would look away or talk to someone else ;)

To anybody reading this. If you like someone and you feel theres a good chance they like you please take action and establish a relationship. Ive made the mistake of being afraid and doing nothing. After school when you start the adult life of working you hardly come across any girls at least ones youd find attractive. If you work in a female dominated industry then you still got a good chance but elsewhere is impossible.

Ok sort of related, but this seems like a somewhat related place to ask for advice: I have a friend, and have no clue if he likes me, or if he's just being the strange human being he usually is. Firstly, he's been my friend for a couple years now, so there's good reasons for him to be friendly. He'll do this thing where if he wants to show me something, he'll sort of put his arm around my back (kinda hard to describe). I've never seen him do it to anyone else though. Other people ship us, but we both usually attempt to verbally bonk whoever ships us in the head. Lastly, there was one time we were talking over text. He told me he wanted to test the honesty of his friend, by telling his friend that he likes me, and seeing if the friend would tell me. I said that I didn't feel comfortable with that, and that I didn't want him to possibly mess up his friendship with that person. He then told me that the "secret" to test the friend (that he liked me) was true, and I wasn't fully sure how to respond because it was pretty late at night and I was exhausted. I told him that I couldn't fully process what was happening rn, and he told me he was lying. The next morning, I asked him to please try not to lie or confuse me, because it makes me feel confused and I don't like having to worry about things like that. He told me he was embarrassed when he reread what he sent. (Sorry that this is super long, but I'm confused and it helps having insight from people who don't have an unconscious bias)
