- In this episode, Aaron shows his viewers a key ingredient needed to properly swap a 12v Cummins into a Dentside Ford truck. Many swaps involve simple motor mounts that bolt to the frame, but there is a better option. That option is to pickup a heavy duty conversion bracket from Auto World Conversions in Montana.

Here is the link for Auto World Conversions and their email. I am highly recommending this product due to the fit, build quality, and the customer service that I received, not to mention it's made here in America!

Nice!
Looks like the way to do it........Appreciate you showing us without pre fitting.
No problem 👍
Great piece of hardware. Never tighten bolts until you get them all in.
For sure, I was hoping the one would bring the bracket down some
Great video, appreciate the time and information.
Thanks for checking out the video! Shocks are staggered on these trucks, not really sure why ford did that though.
Can’t wait for the engine install. Have you done research on how well these frames hold up to the torque of the Cummins ?
Great question, with this being a 4x4 supercab frame, it is second biggest to only an F350 Crew Cab long bed frame in terms of strength, but it is going to get additional brackets and supports as I am anticipating about 1,200 ft pds of torque. A reg cab frame would probably need boxing and bracing in the middle compared to a supercab frame. Will see, its not going on the road until I feel confident the frame is solid and ready for work. Thanks for checking out the video!
So does auto world offer these conversion crossmembers? How much does one cost? Looks like a very nice piece.
Yes this is from Auto World Conversions. They are over $1,000, you can give them a call or message them on Facebook and they will gladly take care of you. Great people to deal with and this is well worth the cost!
@@DentsideDepot i messaged them in email and they were messaging me back until I asked for the cost. Then the communication stopped. The cost must be a secret.
@@craigbruske6866 I would just give them a call. It should be right around 1k for the bracket with all the hardware etc.
How can I buy one for my truck
