- Its been a long journey thus far, but the 1979 F350 Supercab 4x4 project is finally getting the 12v Cummins engine installed! The bracket used to complete this swap is the Auto World Conversions 12v bracket. It has been a life saver in getting this project completed and is an excellent product. The engine sits exactly .5” to the passenger side. I am not sure yet how the body fit will be, but I am expecting to have to clearance the floor board some on the driver’s side with a dead blow hammer.
Here is the link for Auto World Conversions:

Finally got this sucker in! transmission and transfer case are next up then it should start flying together!
nice work bud, I used a crap load of red locktite on the bolts that hold the mounts to the mill. them mills like to rattle the bolts out!
Thats probably a good iidea, I will check them after a bit and if they loosen up and will do the same for sure
Progress is looking good!
Just keep pecking away at it!
Yes Sir!
Awesome going to a nice rig
Yes Sir thanks!
That will be a truly fine machine when you are done!
Looks good you have come a long way since pulling it out of my mud pit of a back yard
It will sink more for sure! Coolant oil turbo intercooler radiator transmission cab plus all the other sheet metal. It will be sitting pretty for sure !! Beautiful build! Keep up the progress 🤜🤛
I would suggest painting the engine Cummins beige. It would make spotting leaks a lot easier and I think it would look really good when you pop the hood and there it is!
The springs are setting down I knew they would
Yes Sir, 3" already! closer to 3.5 really
Your gutz , Imma hatin ! 😂😅
LOL
I thought the front end would sit down 5 inches or more with that engine.
I am hoping it goes down another 2-4". The ppump and accessories still need to go on and the transmission and body (skyjacker 4" diesel rated lift springs)
Did Alvin and the chipmunks help you do the video, because it sounded like they were in the building??
