I couldn't stomach such an awful family. But, Kelly kept me coming back, and it became one of my all time favorite shows.

I like to think that, after the show ended, Jefferson dumped her for a younger and more sexier woman (and one with a much more appealing personality than Marcy), and wiped out Marcy's bank account to boot. Would serve her right. I didn't like that Marcy almost always won and had her way in her battles with Al in the last few years of the show. If it's true that Amanda Bearse had a say in this, then no wonder Ed O'Neill had no use for her. There really should have been more of a 50-50 in their feud, Al won a few, lost a few. Marcy won a few and lost a few. Would have the show a bit more balanced.
