We can see Pam! And Thank you for filming the flops of the creative process, bcuz they happen... And bcuz we have to work thru them after we figure the stuff out! Much appreciated! Love your videos... All of them!!❤
I absolutely love that you include the 'bumps' in your videos. Things don't always go as we want them to, but don't give up. The commentary was great as well !!!
Pam; I just L O V E your videos with your NEVER GIVE UP attitude. Just when I feel I should chuck the journal I'm trying to make, I watch your videos and ask, am 'I having fun yet? You do so much more for this craft then all the multimillion-dollar productions out there do. For that, I thank you! I bet there are many out there that feel the same way. Never change the way you are and tell Sunshine, "ACE CUB REPORTER" to keep us posted.
Every time I think about pulling out my machine and sewing fabric to paper or paper to paper, I see a video of someone I really admire having a difficult time with their machine and I put it off a little longer. By the time I get my bravery on, sewing will be out of fashion. Thanks for sharing and showing the issues as well as the successes 😊
Pam praying for your safety through Hurricane Milton, please be safe all of you Your hubby, Sunny,Polly, both Love Birds!! I wish I knew what part of Florida you live in!!! Love you Pam♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜😊
I found a wedding dress at the resell store for $7.99. Completely covered in lace and beautiful lace. The big thing was it was a plus size. Thank you Pam for encouraging me to look for the grab bags. I picked one with 5 packs of flash cards. 😊
Oh Pam, thank you for sharing this awesome video. You are a daring crafter. You didn't give up. I am one that is afraid of the sewing machine. I go super slow when I use it. Yay, you did it😅! I looks nice. Sunshine, I will keep on crafting. Thank you❣️
The best laugh I had all week. I needed this! I’ve been sewing all my life, but brought back memories of when I first started 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️As my mama said practice makes perfect. I’m so glad you didn’t abandon it. Great video👏🏻👏🏻you remind me of a Lucille Ball skit😂😂
SEW FUN, PAM 😂. Have you ever tried lowering the feed dogs, that would allow you to do free motion sewing, but check your manual first. I think there would other changes to make on the machine. You make me want to rise to this challenge. I think I would try adhering the first layer with a fusible interfacing. I do like the zigzag. I like you patience. I think your fingernails are beautiful !!!
It's so ironic that just yesterday I was sewing my fabric cover onto my journal and I used amazon bubble envelope and I also have a brother sewing machine. The zig zag stitches were in consistent and then my thread broke. My 1st sewing machine was a Sears Kenmore my newlywed husband bought me for Xmas in 1973. I had it forever and upgraded to a model eith fsncy stitches. Ive never had problems until this machine. Its s basic machine because I don't sew like I use to. Im kicking myself for not getting maybe a singer. My mom always had singers. You had more patience than me. I gave up and used my fabri tac glue. Love the cover tho looks like quilting. ❤️♥️😊👍
Great job avoiding the sequins!!!! 😂 Got pretty nervous when your fingers get so close to that needle....but we all survived! Thanks for sharing the process, Pam 🩵
Love your sewing foibles! Glad to know it’s not just me. 😅 Thanks for being so brave and persevering!!! I’m no seamstress either but we press onward! ♥️
i'm so glad you are not perfect....makes me think i have a chance to actually do some sewing. Love your videos and I am learning a ton. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. Pat sunshine on the head for me.....i lost my furbaby 2 weeks ago and wish i could do the same. Have a great day!
This is called creative sewing not like when I started sewing perfect straight lines and no no glue was introduced. Rock on and have fun forget the dust bunnies. 😊😊😊😊😊
LOL, I LOVE your commentary, so entertaining but also informative - HAPPY CRAFTING to the T! 💌 You weren't the only one who let out a big breath when you finished the run after the stop , lool, I didnt realise I had my breath held.... lol
Don't feel embarrassed, Pam. You persisted and your journal cover looks beautiful! I've come to the conclusion that my sewing machine is possessed and only works after I've sacrificed a few tears of frustration and said a magic spell (i.e. a string of curse words.) 😆
I wondered what might have been in the packaging between. The layers. Maybe one of those tracker do-dads for mail servicing? But you literally got “through” it! Looks great! Looking forward to what else you do to/with it! ❤
When your needle came out, you should take what you are sewing out of the machine head. Just saying, the bobbin may need to be cleaned out because lint builds up and stops the sewing process.
I breed maltese for years. My vet told me about discolored noses like Sunshine's. It is a lack of Vitamin D which comes from the Sun. So Sunshine might need more Sunshine!
LOL Pam, thanks for showing everyone not to sew over wet glue LOL. too funny! Alway sew with a leather /denim needle when sewing thickesses, also if you can get a universal walking foot that helps SOOO much! trust me i learnt the hard way ! i just didnt film it hahahaha!
Hi Pam, you poor lady. I thought things like that only came my way, I’m sure my sewing machine dreads having to sew for me, I think if it had legs it would take off and fine a new home somewhere else ☺️. I guess the old saying “ patience is a virtue “ comes into play anyway practice makes perfect so don’t worry let it be. Love your vids.
Places to source fabric. Ask friends and family,I’m thinking. But laughing, imagine cutting it to bits and creating a beautiful book and then giving it back! Now, I have already peeked at the comments, and anxiously going back to witness the creative mayhem about to ensue. 😏
The birds have made their presence known today after not hearing them in the background for so long. I thought that maybe you had moved them to another room in your home.
Mornin' Pam. Maybe consider putting fabric down with a gluestick instead. Just to hold it in place until you sew. Thinner glue and dries faster and less likely to grab your needle in a death grip. 😂 Or (and this will turn your hair gray) don't glue anything and sew pieces as you place them on the cover. 😁 Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
This is exactly how I sew. I talk to myself and I am not even filming a video. Thank you for showing! I love your videos.
We can see Pam! And Thank you for filming the flops of the creative process, bcuz they happen... And bcuz we have to work thru them after we figure the stuff out! Much appreciated! Love your videos... All of them!!❤
😊
Calamity Pam at her best 😊thanks for the smiles and beautiful unique creations
Thanks for sharing your bloopers of crafting, it happens to us all. That's why I love junk journals, they do not need to be perfect🩷💙🩷
I adore you, Pam! Thanks for the laughter!
What fun! Create with reckless abandon or maximum mayhem!

Pam I love your perseverance! The cover will be fabulous when finished. Sunshine you are such a sweetheart! Love to all!❤

When you stopped sewing I realised my shoulders were up to my ears! I got so tense watching you sew...lol. I was right there with you! Thank you 💖
Talk about the best example of sticking to ur slogan... This was great reckless abandon! Thank you, Pam & pup!❤
"It's fun when it works".... That is so true for all forms of art! I feel the same way when I attempt to paint or draw 😊
You crafted an unforgettable cover & nothing was broken🙂That’s all we’re gonna remember. While you struggled the most I journaled some work notes 💕🦢🪻
Hello miss pam and sunshine and holly and Leonardo and happy sweet baby boy sunshine ❤ god bless you all

The runway fashion statement of the season...this will go in your junk journal later.
I agree about not knowing if it is really sewing until you take it out. Been there, done that!😊
Pam, yes pink shirt piece with metal sequins bumped the fabric cover collage up 1000, and won me over. I will definitely do this in turquoise.
Hi Pam! Nice to see you! ❤😊
Great work! The sewing omg. Enjoyed watching! 😊❤
Wow you go girl! That was so much fun to watch and I like it‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Glad your safe and I love the cover❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
I love your humor and your crafts. I am teaching myself to sew. Starting with washable papertowels.
Maximum cuteness from sunshine 🌞

oh my goodness we all have those days! Thanks for keeping it real Pam 🙂 Fun start to a what I am sure will be a lovely journal.
Looking good...😊
Some crazy pedal operator 😅😅 that was fun. Pam you’re hilarious. I’ll learn how to sew someday. You give me hope. Lol
Hi Pam and Sunshine
I Loved this video❤ Thank you 🎉😊

Good morning Pam, Sunny and all the crafter out there! Love all of your videos!
The cover is looking good Pam!
Good morning, Pam and Sunshine! Beautiful cover! I'm looking forward to the next video! Have a wonderful day ❤
O h Pam I feel your pain. There are days like this with a sewing machine.
I love that you let us see the stuff that always happens to me😂
Morning, Pam. Way to persevere! You could always do a bit of hand sewing on the pieces with the sequins. Can’t wait to see the next steps!❤
Don't feel embarrassed, Pam. You persisted and your journal cover looks beautiful! I've come to the conclusion that my sewing machine is possessed and only works after I've sacrificed a few tears of frustration and said a magic spell (i.e. a string of curse words.) 😆

Got some digi kits today❣ They are awesome and love your videos including this one.
When your needle came out, you should take what you are sewing out of the machine head. Just saying, the bobbin may need to be cleaned out because lint builds up and stops the sewing process.
Yes, it's always the bobbin for me when this happens. There is usually a "birds nest" under my fabric.
I love it!!!🐞🐞🐞
Pam, You need the under sewing machine arm led lights from Madam Sew. Then you wouldn't need to fight with the lamp arm
Thanks for showing the hard times!! 😢😂💞👍🏾
Love this! Great idea! ❤
I love it!❤
Loved watching the bloopers! 😅
Good morning
WOW. Some days are a struggle!
You are the best. Lucille Ball could have learned something...😂😂😂❤❤❤
Hi Pam and sonny
Just got here😃
I breed maltese for years. My vet told me about discolored noses like Sunshine's. It is a lack of Vitamin D which comes from the Sun. So Sunshine might need more Sunshine!
Suggestion: find a way to have camera record from behind you, over the shoulder?
LOL Pam, thanks for showing everyone not to sew over wet glue LOL. too funny! Alway sew with a leather /denim needle when sewing thickesses, also if you can get a universal walking foot that helps SOOO much! trust me i learnt the hard way ! i just didnt film it hahahaha!
Pam try a new needle perhaps it’s bent!
😂

A lot of the time when the needle is coming out, it’s time to change the needle or at least that’s what mine does.
Morning !!
Pams peril
Too real Pam. 😂. Oh it’s those days when i have to walk away and try again later.
Places to source fabric. Ask friends and family,I’m thinking. But laughing, imagine cutting it to bits and creating a beautiful book and then giving it back! Now, I have already peeked at the comments, and anxiously going back to witness the creative mayhem about to ensue. 😏
your craft room looks different. Did you get a different craft room? Love the window. Love your video's.
Your sewing and I’m here saying, no Pam, you have no thread! Lol like you can hear me 😂
When will you resume the craft chat and drawing for ephemera again?
The birds have made their presence known today after not hearing them in the background for so long. I thought that maybe you had moved them to another room in your home.

Pam...it looks like you are living my life.😂😂😂
I'm wondering what that envelope is made of. Looks like paper but maybe it has something in it strengthening it?
My lesson from this, test it first.
❤❤❤
💕
What is the desk arm for? Does it hold your phone/camera?
Actually, the sequins are probably plastic. My sewing room gets decorated with them when I alter bridal dresses.
Use an anti-qlue needle for sewing through glue:
