What type of grate are you looking at putting in to try and help lessen the blockages??? If any type of rack i would suggest the V style of rack...they seem to be easily cleared of debris...
Hi, I watch your videos but I don't think you've ever said why you don't get in the water, I see you have waterproofs on. Wouldn't it be easier to push the blockage through if you were in the water in front of the pipe?
Hello! It is so much easier if you can get in the water. The problem with these field drainage ditches is that they are very silty and soft, like quick sand under water. If I am on the dam structure, you can get it, but if it's just the silt bottom, it can be dangerous. Some of the culverts I get in anyway as long as I have a way to pull myself out. This culvert is down a steep embankment with nothing to aid in getting out when you're alone.
Hello mr. Barrett, please mention in your videos the Celsius temperature as well please? Nobody outside the US (and 3 or 4 other countries) know how cold or warm 50 degrees Fahrenheit is. Thank you!
Wow, that pipe and cover are toast. That's no good. Sorry you end up dealing with the aftermath of it. I tried your link but was unable to navigate to it. Just got an error. I'll try again next time!

Thanks for watching!
glad to see ya back!
A camouflaged drain pipe. Decent water flow! See you on the next! 😊
That wasn't due to a beaver. Whoever installed that pipe should have made it longer on the inlet so the bank collapse doesn't cover the pipe
The equipment operator certainly gave the beaver an edge and made it easy work for them.
Do you have a saw of some type that you could trim up the culvert pipe.
I think that pipe is about to come out and be replaced with a bigger pipe with a gate on it.

I agree, I think the V style grate would be the best.
Yay👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼good to see you again🌺🍍🏝️🌴✝️🇺🇸🤙🏽
