10 RFT - 10 Cal Row, 8 DL, 6 HPC, 4 FR Lunges (all at 135lbs) - After Death-By BS day!!

  • I was quite sore after the Death-By squats on Wednesday this week...so why not add some additional volume the next day (Thursday) to make walking & stairs even more exciting on Friday!
    10 rounds for time:
    10 calorie row
    8 deadlifts at 135lbs
    6 hang power cleans at 135lbs
    4 front rack lunges at 135lbs
    *Goal is to hold onto the barbell for the entire 8/6/4 complex - use a weight that allows that to happen for all 10 rounds
    My time: 16:14
    I really slowed down later in the work on the row...had to use it as rest to make sure I could complete the 8/6/4 unbroken.

      Hello Nabin - great question! The simplest way to describe it is I do "CrossFit." The vast majority of the time, I do what is programmed at the CrossFit affiliate I am attending. That said, since I am working towards being more competitive, I have a "list" of workouts from friends, from social media, or from the CrossFit website. I try to incorporate the things I suck at to become a more well-rounded athlete. Generally, if you follow the definition of CrossFit: "constantly varied, functional movement executed at high intensity," coupled with eating "meats & veggies, nuts & seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar," you will become a better human!
