Hey, Marty! Yet another great lesson! I'm a big fan of Marty music. Black Sabbath & Pink Floyd is the reason I decided to learn guitar and that wouldn't have been complete without your teaching style which made me believe it's not impossible. I thank you from my heart for your efforts. I know this is awkward but can you do a lesson on N.I.B please?

Marty, I love your stuff. I was wondering if you could possibly do 311 too late. there's not a very good instructional video out. I learn a lot from you.thank you so much, and have a blessed day.

Does anyone else get really excited when you go to learn a song on UA-cam and Marty has done a lesson on it? I’ve just typed this song in to learn it today and screamed “YES” like some sort of football hooligan, all because Marty has done a lesson on it
Marty if you see this, you have taught me how to play guitar since I was 12 years old. I’m now 23 and still learning from you. You are my go to teacher. Thank you so much for all that you do, you’re awesome

Started learning this song a couple months ago, only been playing for a year, started with Marty, now i can play the entire thing. Marty lets you get a feel for the song after you get that feel you can feel the entire song till it just becomes natural. NO JOKE. START WITH MARTY.

He plays this song wrong though or at least he’s making it hard on himself. You don’t need to move around all that much i seen tony playing the fills live near the fifth and seventh fret so you don’t have to travel as far around the neck

In 1976 my family moved from a happy life to a miserable barely making it life I'm talking small town USA in the heart of Appalchia. We had no normal place to live and my oldest brothers were going down the wrong road it was an awful time. I remember sneaking into my older brothers room, we didn't have rooms at the time so I guess sneaking in his stuff, and listening to this song. From then on I knew I wanted to play the guitar it was dark, scary, but struck me as sincere at the time. At that point I was a metal head for life.

You were already playing your E on the 7th fret, and the D on the 5th, I would stay there for the Verse, making the fills easier. That's how I play it anyway...much easier then trying to do those pull off notes and jump to the 12th fret for the E. Then go to the 12th fret when you play those other parts that sound best on the 12th fret...why you workin so hard Marty? lol Love this song. Glad there is a good instructional video out for it.
