You need to see if they have any updates for the Simplex Ultra and They have already stopped doing anything for the Simplex + per the Email that I was sent and wanted me to get the Simplex Ultra and To me that is not a good sign for progress and the Simplex + Is having problems with EMI And I was told to do a frequency shift and that didn't help and could I make a video of the Simplex problem and could I possibly send the detector to the tech center if they needed to see it, but To already be putting the Simplex to the dog house Showed me what kind of company this is, and then they have No MORE Updates to Help Fix the EMI Problem's Simplex that it's having with a few of my Permissions and the X-Terra Pro hasn't said anything about the EMI and I also need to use the All Metal Mode and I was looking at the Simplex Ultra and others but I seen a screenshot of it and the All Metal Mode is all the way to the right side of the Simplex Ultra and I have counted how many times I have to push the Buttons to get it done and it's a 6 button push and on the X-Terra Pro it's a 1 Button Push to get it done and I have NOW in my hands the X-Terra Pro and What A Totally different Detector that is very much User Friendly ......❤..... and Appreciated
@@adventuresinmichiganwlisa9852well the X-Terra Pro is cheaper at $269. Than the Simplex Ultra At $299. and that's why I went with it instead of Notka Macro Product's
And the X-Terra Pro isn't sold with headphones and yes that's a added expense but for me I have used the money that I have found and put that into my what I want to buy account and that's how I bought the Simplex + originally and I was using Teknetics Detectors that found enough money for me to get the Simplex and I should have been waiting on the purchases for a Minelab Detector but back then the X-Terra Pro wasn't out yet and I Had no idea it was coming up but the X-Terra Pro is $30. Dollars cheaper than the Simplex Ultra and like I have said before about the X-Terra Pro and the All Metal Mode is just a 1 Button Push to check out a Target Signal and the Simplex Ultra is a 6 button push to get it figured out..... and I Love the X-Terra Pro ❤️..
Yes, it arrived last week. That was the first time I used it too. I pulled it out of the box, assembled it, and took it to the water. Not bad for turn on and go.
Have you been able to find waterproof headphones for the Ultra? That's the one thing that is holding me back from making a purchase. Manufacturer's website shows them as an accessory but I haven't found a retailer that carries them.
Kellyco sells them. I do know that there is a big shipment of Nokta gear coming from Turkey in the next couple of weeks. The main supplier in the US is pretty much out of everything Nokta right now.
Very Nice! Question for you...If you didn't have the underwater headphones could you hear the audio underwater (with no headphones) when the whole detector is under? Even if your head is underwater could you hear it. I suspect you could hear it enough but it wouldn't be so loud. Can't wait till summer to find out! Thanks mate!
Well that is good ..I think...so maybe I don't need to worry about getting underwater headphones . Guess I can just turn down the volume if my own head is submerged. I have headphones of course but not the waterproof kind and I wouldn't want to take them in the water cause eventually they would get wet. I imagine I'll be both underwater and walking above water with the machine in the water. In and out. Thanks so much for replying, really appreciate it. Any other tips send then along!@@southernrelics
It actually does decent. I haven’t tried the stock or SP35 coil. but with the SP24 coil attached, manually ground balance to zero, and you can detect even in the water without any chatter. I drop one bar from the top on sensitivity. I actually have an older video showing the settings and you can clearly hear no chatter.
Nokta releasing sub $400 real metal detectors that are also completely submersible almost seems like Nokta is giving the other detector manufacturer's the middle finger saying "beat this".......
Thank you for the adventure and seeing some nice finds !
Thanks for watching

Congrats, nice water hunt. I think I'm ready for a simplex upgrade👍🤓👍. ❤nokta upgrade meaning a new machine

Absolutely!
If you take some small hail screen , wrap it around and under your scoop . You can catch small stuff like stud earrings .
That’s some great advice! Thank you.

Great hunt! I was hoping you would be using the Ultra soon. Congrats on the Silver Earring! God bless!

Congrats on fun and successful hunt. GL & HH.
Thank you. It was the best way I knew how to beat the heat.

Thanks for the info. I did check Kellyco to no avail. I guess I'll hang loose on this. Thanks again.
Cool comparison. Nokta Makro makes a decent machine. I won a kids detector that they made for my grandkids. Congrats on your silver earring. 💖💯
Yeah my son has one of the kids detectors. Great little unit.

When your head is out of the water, you can hear it, but not so well. But if you are completely submerged, the built in speaker is super loud.
