Greetings from Belgium. Can you use the new Simplex without getting bonkers of the chattering in salt water diving. If yes, how high can you set the sensitivity before it becomes untsable and gives chattering? Thanks.
Greetings from Korea. nice to meet you! Personally, when I use it in salt water, it seems that ground stability improves if I lower the sensitivity by about 5 levels in the Beach Mode of Nokta Simplex Ultra and set the ground balance to 00 manually. However, there is a bit of noise, so be aware of it :)
@@MetalLiquidator Thanks. I'm on vacation in Turkey for the moment and i had the Nota Makro Legend with me for salt water detecting but it brooke down the first day already so i'm lookng for a cheaper back up detector.j The water headphone i have from the Legend also fits on the Simplex..
@@burakyasar3052 Well. parasites everywhere, not just in the ocean. I have 22 years of diving experience and am a Master and Rescue Diver. In my experience, you just have to be careful not to drink seawater carelessly. And if you have a metal detector, you can block shark attacks because of radio waves. Happy diving, dude :)
@@MetalLiquidator I am a 3 star CMAS diver and I teach search and rescue and deep sea first aid, but I heard that there is interference about detectors. What you said gave me an idea, thanks for the help my friend 🙏🏼
Amigo esse Simplex Ultra realmente aguenta vários mergulhos ? Ele não apresentou nenhuma infiltração de água não ?

Have you set it to vibration only mode or did you put headphones or sound mode?

Both vibration and sound check using underwater headphones are possible:-)🙆🏻♂️
Nice detector❤
Are you calibrating underwater?
In the case of the improved Nokta simplex ultra version, the mineral stability of the beach mode is good, so there is no need for any setting:)
@@MetalLiquidator I have simplex+ and I haven't used it yet, but I've heard a few things about parasites in the sea, do you know?

a good movie. This is a new detector and I'm waiting for it to be available in Poland.
Beach optimization is much better than the old simplex. It's also waterproof up to 5 meters. I wish you a good hunting:)
