Can confirm, strong guys hate it when you do "their thing" with ⅓ of the effort using leverage. If they think they are getting shown up by a length of pipe, or a prybar, or in this case a hammer with a slot in the handle, they will metaphorically dive tackle you about how it's wasting time and how you should just man up and work harder etc etc... BC I guess back when they were young the laws of physics were different and the basic principle of leverage didn't apply back then or something 🤷

@jjmeara26 I disagree. People shit on things like this because they're more novelty than practicality. People don't get to a financial state where they can afford a $400 hammer when a $40 option will do the same job. I make more than enough to have a Martinez hammer for every day of the week, but I got to that point by not buying frivolous shit and being smart with my money. Smart people with wealth own property, not expensive hammers. People who are working manual labor jobs and want flashy things for their hard work buy $400 hammers while paying rent and leasing brand new trucks.
Buy a house, over pay your monthly minimum mortgage. Drive a vehicle that's reliable and gets the job done. Pay it off. Work hard. Aquire wealth, then buy a boat and a side by side if you want something nifty and flashy.

Judging by your clean sweat-proof shirt, shiny new gloves, new tool belt and $400 hammer….hmmmm. I think I’ll take my advice from a real tradesman.

Lots of jealous commenters on here. Hell, I am not in the building trades and I'm going to buy myself a Martinez hammer. I like the concept and I support Made in America. When you die, you can't take your money with you, the IRS will get a nice chunk of it, so might as well splurge when you can. II like this channel, subscribed!

Mechanics have literally been using this kind of trick with 2 spanners to loosen or tighten bolts for years. Most of us mere mortals who don't have a Martinez hammer but we could probably find a big enough pipe or a big ring spanner to use than an expensive hammer like that one.

I use a small lenght if scaffolding gole. Works better and wont damage that expensive overly priced priced hammer you needed to show us.

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.

Hmm well.. hmm .. as a Martinez, stiletto, and boss owner.. I love my hammers. It’s definitely an unnecessary obsession.. but nice to have them. They do feel great.
This video.. this kid’s embarrassing to us simple folk with a hammer obsession.

Welp....guess i gotta cut a big hole in my hammer now, can't justify $300 to switch from a douglas and stilleto to a martinez just so i can use it for a cheater bar.
You can tap the cats paw with the hammer too btw. Works great. Might even be faster.
