Thank you for this instructional Miguel! I was able to do this no problem using one of my retired DS4 controllers. I do think the dual sense springs are a little higher tension than the DS4 springs were, so it’s not a permanent fix, but it’s better than no spring at all. Just be sure you have needle nose tweezers! My stubby fingers had a hard time until I borrowed some from my wife. 😂

Great video, other tutorials recommed disassembling almost the entire controller to replace the L2 spring (R2 is easier). Though I must say it's way harder to place it correctly using the dualsense spring instead of DS4's, you'd better try it on a good day if you don't wanna end up smashing the controller to the ground.

Aqui o que fiz foi entortar a molinha pra trás, deixando ela igual a original. Ela deixa o botao mais rígido, ai fica zero bala! Abraços e boa sorte.

Creo que no lo entiendes. Para mi no supone ningún problema abrir el mando y echar un vistazo. Y si lo puedo arreglar en 5 minutos no voy a molestarme en hacer envíos y esperar lo que a Sony le parezca. Además no he perdido mi garantía ya que el mando no tiene precintos de garantía.

My tip is to ask someone else to hold the spring in place while you put the other part under the button (L2 in my case). I did it in 5 minutes like that.

Just notify sony and you'll get a new one. You don't need to attempt a DIY job and void your warranty in the process, nor do you need to pay fir a new controller. You have rights as a consumer you know

@@miguelmiserias I got my ps4 January 2016. So my controller is from that Era. I can't quite see the model number. So it's not pro not the slim kind
I am told some springs are different. I bent one portion of it the top part. And before bending it. I noticed the spring was not wrapped around the trigger but near the trigger mechanism on the controller.
So I'm wondering where am I'm supposed to put the spring? On the trigger or the part near it.
I'm so confused on his. I was so proud I was able to successfully open it and clean it without realizing the spring part. It got bent when I was closing it and got caught on the trigger where it snaps onto the controller.
Amy advice on how I should go on about this? If my model is older does the spring go on the controller part or the trigger part?
Any help would greatly be appreciated...
Also regarding the springs. There seems to be different kinds of them. So which would you suggest for a controller circa 2016 Jan to early 2017?
