Great to see all bands back in the day playing and dancing at the same time instead of putting instruments down! Grambling seems to be the only band doing it now.
They playing all my jams. I came right in with that whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop. 75-80 was my coming of age musically. It's weird I'm just now becoming aware of HBCU's. Regret I didn't attend one.
Man ole school bands did it best! I mean them guys played no games. One can tell they put a lot of work into their dance routines! I love how they played and danced to one entire song! New school Directors need to come watch, take notes, and use some ideas from some of these ole school band videos.
DeJohn Tellis-Oliver oh yes I most definitely noticed. They all gave so much style and grace. Loved the part when they spun in circles. I personally prefer this Shame routine over the 2018 edition. It’s something about those Nancy’s on the field.

@@Crowdpleaser84 It's not my fault that Grambling was one of the sorriest HBCU band of the 70's, 80"s and 90"s. I'm not surprised that no Grambling band videos can be found. Maybe a Grambling alumni decided to mercifully destroy all of those bad memories of just how pathetic Grambling was compared to the elite bands, The Sonic Boom Of The South, The Human Jukebox, FAM Marching 100, Bethune Cookman. Grambling has always been elite in athletics, but otherwise it's bottom of the barrel especially in6 marching bands.
I don’t I’ve ever seen any clips from the 70’s. Thanks for this. 👍🏾
I was a senior there at that time. Bring back good memories.
I was in this halftime show!

I love the fact that the Jaycettes look like the J-Settes. Many squads cannot say the same.
When they spell out JSU I smile !!! That's always my favorite part

Good, musical and entertaining. Strong performance start to finish!
The crowds were so energetic, at some point and time maybe in the early 2000, the crowds only care about the Zero and or the The Fifth

@@TAPEMASTEROFFICIAL So it is safe to say that JSU has been using popular tunes since its founding?
Was that ms. Worthy as captain for the jsettes?
prettishanshan yeah she was 1978-1980. Mrs Worthy was dancing her ass off on that 50 yard line.
ILoveMyHIU YESS Mrs. Worthy ATE DOWN on that field!!!
OkaySoWhat yes she did, that’s why the Worthy girls didn’t play on the field.
