The time I spent marching with the JUKEBOX was and will always be the BEST TIIMES of my life (85-87)!! We were the only and last ALL MALE Marching Band up until 91. Wherever we went the stadiums were SOLD OUT! So for all that say they out performed us back then....lies all lies!! No other band will ever match us! DRIBBLES 85' T PHI T!!
That's sad to think about. I started taking lessons for trumpet at 9yrs old, and didn't stop playing until...well I'm in my late 30s now and still play. It would have crushed me to have admired this band for years only to be rejected from joining. But on the flipside, I know how it feels to be a woman and have and enjoy certain activities, knowing they are strictly for us, no guys...just the girls. All to say, I'm sure by the guys having that 'all male' band experience, it felt like a really nice brotherhood...something you didn't have to share with the ladies, but it was just for ya'll. I get that. But!!! Sure glad my band days didn't start until 1999 tho so I didn't have to be disappointed by that bullskkit!! 😂😂
On that Saturday night in Baton Rogue in 1986 only one band had the crowd rocking and it was Not the home band. Sonic Boom brought that Joy to jaquarland. Then like now the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Of The World JSU Sonic Boom Of The South
Stop lying, our crowd loved us more. Also you can't be a heavy weight if you're constantly copying off the #1 HBCU band (Human JukeBox) period! Now, dare me to post the proof copycats!
I was 10th grade when this took place. This halftime battle was deciding factor of which band I was going to perform in. Of course I choose JSU. #trumpfunk
I remember seeing this halftime show before I started my first year of high school.
They did the circle at yesterday‘s game as they slaughtered JSU in all categories. 💙💛💙💛 This my birth year ☺️☺️.
Noooooooooo😳
They brought out "you be ill'n" thats a classic right there

FAMU is the only hbcu to win the sudler trophy. FAMU has given both these schools the business for years.
that's a white man's trophy, HBCUs in their right might don't care about it, but good for FAMU, they are a well balanced band.
@@sylentknight if they cared they couldn't win it anyway.
@@sylentknight it don't matter if they cared or not FAMU is way over these schools head
😂😂😂😂😂😂- the only thing y’all can ever say is the white mans sudler trophy. See you in the swac!
