Probably not so easy to do on an actual quilt. Nobody ever does an actual quilt in these tutorials.

Weeks Ringle of modern quilt studio does have a lap quilt size that she uses for walking foot quilting. You can find it on the modern quilt studio UA-cam channel.
I've used her technique on larger quilts and it works well for me
