Thank you for the great explanations. My ophthalmologist had me try the mono vision contact lenses. I wasn't able to wear them because they made me nauseous and I just couldn't adapt to them. Good to see all these new treatments on the horizon.
I have worn distance glasses since I was in my early 20's. I have 3 much younger siblings who've never worn glasses. However, when they all reached 50, all 3 of my siblings started wearing reading glasses, yet I still don't have to in my 60's. Why is that?
I got a question for anyone who can answer, I have a prescription of -0.25 in my right eye and -0.50 in my right. Do I have to wear my glasses I feel like I can see fine without them. Only problem is l've been dealing with what I think is eye strain of some form bc my left eye has been hurting and it's been making me feel weird like it feels like the left side of my brain is being tickled. Is that possible with such a low prescription? Never really had a problem until I went through to the eye doctor.
