- The Deep Ocean is an overly priced 300m dive watch from Frank Dubarry that somewhat fails on its promise of high end avant-garde design, although it makes use of some clever tech its not a diver that I would choose to keep in my collection which is why I am giving it away.

The design is nice but but overly done. suprisingly not only on the busy watch dial, even at the caseback. I guest the idea of the open heart is to have a look of a tourbillon.anyway i do enjoy the idea of the wheel for the internal rotating bezel. thank you for the honest review.

Aligning the indices each to other looks like a nightmare, but otherwise it looks like a nice watch. I would like to put it on my hand and have the caseback face mirrored on my skin. 🙂

I agree with your description. Its unique, and a good looking watch but I am hard pressed to spend it on this watch. That triangle 12 caught my eye right away, what a nice design. What a crying shame the lume wasn't long lasting.

There are some interesting unique design elements here - making this a nice interesting watch. I especially liked the scroll wheel for the bezel.
The only two items that give me pause are the open heart and cluttered dial - removing some of the arabics (I rather like the 3,6,9) or making them smaller and removing the open heart would make it less cluttered imo.
Ooooof not a fan of pin and collar - just resized one and stabbed myself 5x .... to have it resized for me would have cost $28.
Yeah the NFT Artwork would not interest me either - neither does the cost.

I cant help thinking that the watch would be much better without the open heart. That said, I love the strap removal and scroll wheel - its strange enough that I would love to get it in hand.

I like bigger watches as I have a larger end of the spectrum wrist (8" or 20-21cm) but this might be pushing it. I do really like the dial layout, shame about the lume. Also never understood the whole NFT thing, must be a young man's game.
