My favorite plant to grow at the moment is a classic, lemon lime (heart leaf) philo. The vine is a fantastic peach color near new growth, new leaves come out with a gorgeous orange tint and then harden off to that really pretty chartreuse.

Same here ! I am all about the plain green philodendron leaves !! There is something so minimalistic about them

I love watching my money tree grow. It never seems to go dormant and always has new growth. Syngonium are fun too because they are so prolific.

I picked up a Syngonium Neon Robusta recently, and agree that it’s fun to watch. I think it’s such a cute plant!

I’m a big fan of watching my monstera adansonii, pothos, syngonium albo, and lemon lime maranta grow. I like that they are all pretty much no fuss

My favorite to watch grow is my mounted staghorn fern! The shield is just starting to cover the moss and it looks really cool ☺️

I'm kind of crying looking at your thai constellation, it's soooo beautiful. I FINALLY got one and I got it at the Plant Stand of Arizona AND picked up a bag of De la Tanks while I was there. It just felt like I was having an incredible Becca inspired moment. So excited for mine to grow :')

I'm LOVING watching my Syngonium Chiapense grow! As soon as I got her, I gave her a plank. And very recently, she fully attached to it! YAY! I need to make a reel...

I’ve been very happy to watch my good old monstera deliciosa grow 13 leaves and counting this summer. I repotted her , chopped her a bit and she’s gone to town. Overall I love watching my Hoya. They’re fairly easy and rewarding I like the decision to trellis or not. I’m not a fancy plant gal and with the exception of my monstera, I like things that stay relatively small I like to fuss over what I have without getting overwhelmed.

My favorite plant that makes my heart sing with each new set of leaves is my pineapple I started. It's one I bought from the store and started in soil, not water. Someday a lil pineapple stalk will grow up from the middle and the pineapple will slowly grow and grow. I love it.

My favorite plant right now to grow is my Ludisia Discolor and trying to get a bloom out of it! But I think I spied a wee little bloom stalk starting to come out, now.

Many thanks for sharing these beautiful plants and for this video! I am enjoying the growth on my Chocolate Agleonema and my Manjula Pothos. I love full and easy to grow plants. 😊 This has been a good growth season for us here in Charlotte, NC and we are grateful! 👌🪴🥰

My husband has gotten into bonsai, and he is growing a Japanese Black Pine from seed. It has been so exciting to watch grow! We’re always wondering what it’s going to do next. Lately, it’s been getting tiny, baby bark…so cute and fun to watch. :)

Although they're simple plants, pothos are so fun to watch grow because of how quickly it happens. Mine has grown 2 feet in just 5 months!

Cool video! Crassinervium fan here lol. I now have mine crawling and climbing in same pot. I seen a video of one in nature climbing up a cliff, then crawling horizontally after it reached the top.

I have let my pothos climb around the wall vs. just hang down from its basket & it has been fun to watch it grow. The vines are about 8 ft long & it has lots of character crawling around my home!

I have one also that is growing out of my fish tank. It has attached to my wall and has huge leaves at the end of a thick and ugly vine. I'm afraid I am going to move it cause it is in the living room window blocking the light

Re: albo syngonium….give it more bright light if you want more variegation to appear. I had mine in my cabinet and as it got taller and grew closer to lights, the leaves started showing more variegation. It also LOVES being outside.

My favorite plant to grow right now is my Hoya kentiana! It currently has a peduncle and if you know anything about hoya blooms, it’s such a fascinating process watching them transform! I’ve been patiently watching it, especially since this will be my first ever hoya to bloom for me 🤞🏽

Some plants that I think are fun to grow: terrarium begonias (so underrated and super easy to maintain!), trailing peperomias, p. micans, raven ZZ, watch chain succulent 🤩

Thank you for teaching me that my Hilo Beauty is not a Colocasia after all. I just researched what you said - yep, reclassified. I will treat mine differently now and likely improve its growth habit (seeing as all my other caladiums are doing very well in less light, heat and water.) Great video! BTW - your clarinervium looks amazing.

  • @vanessap.4810

My caladiums have never had any pest but it was hard to keep leaves alive. I kept them next to my south facing window. They are really easier and fast to restart than to struggle with them through winter.

I actually got what I consider to be an Alocasia? Hilo beauty in the winter and it’s still going strong and the leaves get bigger and bigger each time. So I would imagine it would over winter well because it’s been with me since winter when it arrived.

Those bunny ears! Would love to see what it does when it climbs! I have heard from Charmaine of unplantparenthood that those sticky saps are some sort of symbiosis with ants(?) She makes really long videos so I couldn't find it quickly lol.

Extrafloral nectaries are, as the name suggests, nectar; a sugar-rich liquid which is produced by the plant in order to develop a symbiotic relationship with ants in the wild. In the wild, ants build nests amongst the plants roots, which help hold the nest together.
    Or am I miss understanding.
