If this movie had better writing/directing and better looking monsters that weren't CGI, then I think it could have done really well. The potential was there but it wasn't enough
That's what you get with nepotism in Hollywood. Daughter riding the coat tails of daddy's career... although it's not like dad made that many good movies.

She visits her estranged sister and kids to reconcile and starts talking about fairies and estranged sister is thinking "My sister lost her mind, smile and nod, don't call her crazy, we don't know what she'll do, but she's never coming near us again after she leaves."

This one is also somewhat of a cliffhanger still, but at least we know the fates of our main characters, and that's nice
They had free time all night and yet they can't find the hidden bunker door yes totally make sense. If i were there i would find the bunker at first night.
I always liked the ideas revolving around faeries and changelings, theres a lot of fantasy books about dark and light fae and curses that i wish became movies. I wish more were thriller or darker thohgh.

Cliffhanger endings suck. This type of ending is only good if the ending is ambiguous and the viewer is left thinking.
