The Gacha games industry is,IMO, ridiculously saturated. Companies really want a piece of that pie and will throw almost anything at the wall and see what sticks, huh.

I can see it right now for a Zelda gacha game. People spending hundreds for that 6 star light arrows.
2:13 Square Enix used to have a Kingdom Hearts gacha game in KHuX they made in 2015, though I’m assuming they’re making a new one to replace it since KHuX shut down in 2021

Not gonna lie, I hate to admit I can't even choose which one to play and stay on right now. BUT! I will try my luck on Azure Promilia since it's as I can get from playing and reliving rune factor all over again.

I'm pretty sure Infinite Nikki is related to Shining Nikki and Love Nikki tho (both are dress up games one is in 3D the other is in 2D)

Pretty genius timing for zzz to put their release date just over a month after ww where all the new game hype will be dead able to catch a lot of people wondering if to stay with the game or not

@@VeliaOwO Think saying "everyone" is a stretch. People will just pick what they want. Thing ZZZ has going for it though is it's a stamina gacha. You just play and log out. It's when you look to playing multiple open world gacha that time is an issue and you really need to just pick one. Same reason people never play multiple mmorpg at the same time. It's just not realistic
still some quite interesting games announced/coming and i was pretty intrigued by last zzz beta; unfortunately there's literally no time for most of these. Once WuWa comes out I'll be dropping Genshin and just keeping up with HSR dailies and then there's FFXIV so ZZZ will have to wait... Good year though!

Releasing bad gacha games is just a waste of money for a company. The market is saturated and most of the target audience have found their game(s). I don't get why people think releasing anything below the highest quality would ever bring in people to play their game. I mean, the day is only so long and personally, I don't have time to play more than 3 actively.
Furthermore, people get used to the strategies on how gacha games make people spend their money. Slowly, more and more players are becoming quite concious of how much they spend or if they want to spend anything at all.
Even releasing a good gacha game won't guarantee revenue with these SSS-class gacha games already on the market. I wonder when the developers will realise this.
I think gacha games are the future right now. Many of the triple A studios are messing up. All from translations, controls, optimizations and bugs. Indiedevs are the best but sooner or later they always tend to get sold out to companies like Tencent, Electronic Arts or similar and that's when you can just uninstall the game because you know it's not gonna get any better. Peak has been reached.
I also think that gacha games formulae can get improved, like no powercreeping, and make it easier for people to get the first variant of the char.
Like we all can get Arlecchino with 20 wishes 100%, but if we want her C1 we need the 80-90 wishes with 50/50. and all that.
@@dongarippo7279 That's quite optimistic, getting a character is a bigger incentive to use money than getting a constellation. Don't think they will ever change that.
I think they will end up with a certain monthly amount of "subscription" (blessing of the welking moon or sth) that gives you enough resources to get all the characters to c0. Like star rail is doing right now.
Don't think the gacha formulae can be improved at the moment. Maybe in western games, but eastern gachas are in the final state.
Gachas are inherently not good for longevity. The incentive to invest in a character becomes less and less when you have 100 other ones.
The future will be 100$+ games with additional cosmetic purchases in game, especially with the rules china wants to enforece. Less pay to win... I hope.
A Zelda Tower Defense gacha would make Nintendo BANK. So would a Kirby rhythm gacha. Kirby has lots of crossover material too due to his Smash alts and such. So while it'll be in Kirby fashion, they can add Splatoon, Zelda, Mario, Starfox tracks as well. And Zelda has enough enemies and key characters to easily rival Arknights in the genre.
Yeah they're missing out.

I am actually surprised hearing about inifity Nikki. My girlfriend likes the franchise and when we were looking for some gachas to play, we stumbled about that Genshin-like spin-off. I do hope it ends up being multiplayer to some degree, would love to join my girlfriend on the game, but still, I am glad to see they kept on working on this tittle. I remember looking info about it like a year ago and seeing nothing but like 3 screenshots and promo images... made me think it was vaporware/abandonware by now. Not exactly my kind of gacha/game, but I am looking forward to giving it a shot.
aside from those mainstream popular title, definately assualt lily. as a vet Jp player, i am curious how will the en side response to it.
we already have a kingdom hearts gacha game called "kingdom hearts union X (unchained)" it was okay for lore reason and the gameplay wasnt to bad. so them making another one will hopefully give us more lore.

Excited for? Nothing. I will test WW but the Graphic is meh. Will Test ZZZ but the monitor game looks boring for me. Azur Promilia looks great but i hate Pokemon. The Duet Night Abyss Trailer was something i like but without real gameplay no one knows how good/bad the game will be.
Think 2024 i will stay with HSR, Snowbreak and Nikke without a new Gacha.

Gacha is great! Unless you have gambling issues. I'm tired of paying for games that gets broken after a few hours (dragon's dogma 2) or gets updated later and you can't even play it. Or it doesn't get updated and you can't play it anyway. Early Access games, Not finished games even if it says so, devs not caring to translate properly, controls that are bad and floaty, optimizations that are outright hell. I'm just tired of paying for it.
Gacha you support as you want and like, pay? don't pay? Play? don't play. I think many do like me and pay the 5 euros when active, which is fair and they continue to work on their game.
The model is similar to early access but they release good updates and it works/runs! Bugs gets fixed ASAP and yada yada. F2P and I like it. I wish they would've made gacha pulls more friendly. At least for C0:s (or first time chars), the others can be more expensive. So we can get and try all chars more easily. when you get a char you like you can go all in whale it or whatnot.
Still I like gacha's! Doesn't have to be anime games either of course! Or mobile, I rather pay for something I know what I'll get. Rather than 70 euros for a dragon's dogma 2 that ends up in failure after getting to Vern. And it wasn't even that fun to begin with, damn floaty controls.
