- Catching up with one half of the duo that runs mesagarden.com @mesagarden2285 a truly legendary cactus and succulent seed business. I hesitate to use the word rare as it conjures eBay price gougers and internet hucksters profiting off of plants however in this particular case that really accurately describes the type of plants that they deal with here at Mesa Garden. The hardest to find and most peculiar plants are what they grow, I hope you enjoy this peek behind the veil so to speak. I had such great time working on this project and want to thank the entire Mesa crew as well as a huge thank you to the Los Angeles Cactus & Succulent Society for sponsoring this episode. Make sure to go check out the links below for plant and seed shop.

Hunter smokin a lil too much herb going off on tangents the whole time
I agree! We were really looking forward to hearing Aaron speaking more.
@@yoyoyohihihidude not too much herbbb 😂😂
hate to admit it, but i gave up.
@@yoyoyohihihidude .... Strong on ADD, sad to see
I hope the guy you interviewed would talk more. I mean I want to get most of the insights from him. he should be the star of the show in my opinion. improvements in the future, I hope.
As a tip, this is an interview video, you have to interview the person, the person has to talk at least 70% - 80% of the video...
Dude you should let other people talk ,you're always interrupting a lot otherwise good content.
The legendary Mesa Garden.
I love buying seeds and cacti from Mesa. Best variety. Thanks for sharing their story. I really enjoyed this video
Made my first purchase from Mesa garden about a week ago, never knew about them before but I am very glad I do now.
WOW this is an INCREDIBLE video and fantastic Interview with Aaron, Mesa Garden is so wonderful and WOW amazing collection of Cacti, thank you so much for sharing with us XXXX
I bought seeds from Steven a few times, first being in 2008.
Some ariocarpus varieties and other stuff. Best purchase ever. I have almost all the varieties surviving with me. I have the hand written category numbered envelopes and packing to this date. Have done that a few times since. It's wonderful work selling dreams to people who love to have these.
Very very good videos
The Jack Black on cactus quest is walking us through the dreamland
I really really appreciate this
Hay Dude Hunter , your videos are awesome ,thanks for all the info . Oh one thing you seem to be the person to ask . Is it legal to buy seeds from from other countries when I don't have a license . Lots of luck your doing great .
Jesus! Take a breath, man
Lmao 😂
Awesome. Can't wait for the tour...
Mesa Garden Rocks, Thanks Hunter!

My friend, have a good day 😊
That Buffalo cactus wow! Great video😁
Will there be a video showing their collection?
I discovered Mesa Gardens watching your videos. Have an order I expect any day. I have had really good germination with the seeds from Mesa, far less than some other sellers.
I would like if they dumb down the plants for people like me. Flunkies who like cactus. I often don't know the names of cactus and jump from site A back to Mesa to match name to photos. Right now I am getting into grafting... So gotta plant more seeds
Monologue
16:22 nice stock footage of "bugs".
That's interesting that they send a lot of these seeds overseas. I was surprised to hear that. The niche that cactus fill in the environment is probably unsatisfied in Asia. That's my theory, anyway. I like the idea of cultural exchange, and that includes plants and animals as well as ideas and products.
Yeah, no. Let’s not exchange plant seeds to other countries, if we know they have potential to be invasive. So many invasive species are destroying natural areas because of ecological ignorance. Unfortunately, this could never be regulated properly & people are generally too stupid to understand the ramifications of ecological collapse. Plant natives, y’all.
I have had great success with Mesa Garden seeds. Always excellent germination rates. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks for the behind the scenes video.
🎉❤
This is my fav video so far.
I enjoy your rabbit holes... Better than other rabbit holes on the inter-webs.
Keep up the good work brother 💪🏼💚

Love the video bro but let the other guy get a word in!! 😅 This is not an "interview", it's a sermon
I hear ya. I was super excited and Aaron is soft spoken. It was hard to get him to come out of his shell tbh. I have gotten much better with this.
no worries @@CactusQuest, your content is awesome. call this one a mulligan
Less talky
Usually you do interesting videos. What happened here? You seem like you were completely stoned 🙂 You talk and talk and talk but somehow the other guy should be in the center of it all, shouldn't he? Weird, really.
Bro can you talk less in the future video?Guest was there like : yup....mhm....sure...right.....yes.....
In 8 minutes the mesa guy didn't speak a single sentence please let the guest speak
Yeah I was super excited and he was very soft spoken. We dropped more videos together he came more out of his shell. I have been better about that too btw.
Not much of an interview when the interviewer is doing all the talking.

I really enjoy the plant talk, but your interviews are a little hard to watch, you tend to make it about you, also it sounds like everything you say is a pitch.
Love the videos...but frankly you dominate the interviews too much...remove the "I" from your conversations, and it will all be so much better...sorry, but that's the truth! This owner has so much to share, but was completely over-talked by you...
