Hey man, thanks for your awesome reviews. Kinda bought the AW2723DF because of your review. It's such a great monitor. I'm absolutely loving it. Upgraded from 1080p. The colours are just stunning!!! Best wishes from Germany Lau
Your review helped me tremendously. I had ordered this screen with Origin and when you mentioned the text issue and the dimming, I knew that would have bothered me till no end, so I was actually able to cancel my order. Keep up the good reviews on your channel here.
I absolutely love the idea of a bendable display and it freakin OLED! But the PPI and resolution are low for such a big screen, and on top of it (literally) is a mat display instead of normal OLED glass. I love the idea but I'm not choosing this monitor, going for the safe route, and choosing the Alienware 34-inch QD-OLED. Love your videos, keep it up!
Thank you for your great review and comparison. I was very interested in this monitor, but the PPI and text fringing would have been disappointing for what would have been an awesome monitor.
Just ordered one but I am not fully convinced, I think that a good chuck of the price is based on that bendable technology,I wish it was just curved and the price at around 1500.
Thank you for the review. This was helpful. Would you happen to know: How does this compare to the LG - UltraGear 45" OLED Curved WQHD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible Gaming Monitor with HDR10 (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB)? Particularly if NOT using for gaming, but instead to have a split screen to use with MAC for coding/desktop stuff. Thanks!
Would you consider reviewing the Acer Nitro XR343CK? It seems to be a mid budget repurposing of the Acer Predator X34 and was wondering how it compares to it. I was considering buying it.
very dissapointed of this monitor, bacause it has overshoot, same story like G7 Odyssey, only difference is that this one has yellow tint of this inverse ghosting and its happening on high frames like 200+. G7 Odyssey has it on 120-160 FPS visible, both cases only when Adaptive sync is enabled. Problem is Corsair doesnt have even overdrive setting to low response time to make overshoot less visible.
Hi there, I have got Dell S3422DWG, as I had limited budget. But now I am thinking to go for 38" IPS monitor. I am thinking between LG 38GN950-B and Alienware AW3821DW. Alienwire cheaper than LG, but AW using also LG nano IPS panel. Have you had a chance to see these monitors. Is there notivable difference to pay extra for LG, or better to go with AW? Thank you in advance.
@Smurf Mafia Yes LG 38WN95CW, 38GN950, Alienware AW3821DW basically are usung same LG nano IPS. Maybe due to producer some adjustments they may minor differences, like all of them native 144Hz but 38gn950 can be overclocked to 160 Hz. And all of them can use 10bit only up to 120Hz. I use monitor for gaming and some personal photo and video editing and other graphical works. For movies I use LG OLED C2 tv with Nvidia Shield Tv pro.
I bought the 38” Alienware back when it was originally released. I’ve been trying to find a better and larger monitor worth upgrading to, and I don’t mind spending $2000+ if that’s what it takes, but there isn’t anything so significantly better that it’s worth it. Like sure they’re better or better in different ways, but not so much better in all ways that they’re worth upgrading to.
wow no longer flat so you are paying for something that won't be able to maintain that flat for someone that might want that instead of the curve good to point that out in your review I went with the lg version since you can't even mount this xenon to a monitor arm you lose desk space
SAME THUMBNAIL every video. If he only realized how much it meant. Go to his videos and they damn near all look the same with thumbnail. If I am not searching for a specific monitor like I was with the samsung g8 then this channel is honestly not being watched. You make it unppealing because I dont even know what it looks like as a viewer so I have to go and look up the words and I'm not doing that. Along with sometimes skipping out on details if previous ver was given is why this channel hasn't taken off like it should
nothing wrong with that I prefer using the lg version over my 4k @ 120hz oled oled @ 240hz is game changing you want we all want 4k @ 240hz but I don't think we will see it until next year

It's unfortunate that the PPI is so low on this display, because other than that, it would be a great match for my wants and needs
I always love your monitor reviews ❤️

what keyboard is that?
G9 neo or this ?
i want to know too
The arms giggle because they need a bit of space in order to slide out.😂
Does this have crosshair??
Budget monitor for premium price even if it's OLED. Needs 5k resolution for it's size
That literally makes no sense... Its a niche product for one so the price will be high anyway
