Japan LOVES Disney as ive seen. So this could be huge in Japan.
Is it gonna be like the opposite of one piece where instead Japanese lorecana will always be one set behind the English meta?
Considering that Lorcana plays similarly to Duel Masters, I am not surprised by this.
Gonna have to disagree with u on OPTCG being the third most popular globally, it’s one of the most rapidly growing ones for sure but popularity is a different story
Yeah. It might be popular, but no way OPTCG is beating MTG worldwide.
I missed out on the Maleficent play mat so I'm all about that . Gonna try get a couple of boxes if in the same price range as Pokémon.
If I wasn't already belly-deep in Pokemon TCG, I'd probably give Loracana more of a try

I love One Piece, the card game seems neat, but claiming OPTCG is number 3 TCG world wide and above MTG effectively just based off of Japanese numbers is kinda crazy.

@@thanoscrackatfortnite6141 I can see that being the case for North America, but I have a doubt that is how it is World Wide.
Yugioh has taken quite the nose dive recently in NA (I partially suspect it's due to no anime advertising the TCG to younger players)
Though I'd still suspect Pokemon to be number one due to WotC's fumbles recently.
@@ShadowEclipex maybey🤔 magic just seem like the most played TCG but the one whit the highest sales is probably Pokémon due to its appeal to the child audience and collectors.
@@thanoscrackatfortnite6141 MTG is the most played among older audiences, but yeah. It's important to remember how big the market for Kid Friendly tcgs are and Pokemon being one friendliest both in designs and gameplay wise.
Not to mention it has a high enough skill cieling for adult players to sink their teeth into as well.
