Good demo of the options from HF wrench storage options. I think your getting best bang for buck in the last one you choose. I do like the gripper ones you can take out. They hold pretty good but, if you have more than 15 wrenches your setup in the end is better. I am also looking at the toolbox widgets. Just seems like that is the way to go in the end. Con.. it cost more. Pro way more fits in drawer with the toolbox widgets and gives great modularity. I also have the magnetic one using on side of toolbox. It works great for me the big stuff that I couldn't fit in box and some duplicate sizes.

Loved the review. The wrenches came out fantastic.
You can remove the non-skid drawer liner for the 4 piece set which will allow the magnets to have direct contact with the drawer bottom which will greatly increase the magnetic strength.
I tried it and works better but doesnt look as nice. There is a thinner type but is black. After I put them all it doesnt move at all so I am good and love it. Thanks
@@ExtremDIY Could always mark out the holders on the mat and cut out their footprint so they're directly in contact with the metal and the rest of the drawer is protected. Thanks for the video BTW, saves me from doing what you did.

Does it take two hands or one to remove a wrench from the second (red/black) holders? You do it both ways, one hand with a large wrench and two for a small wrench. Can you remove the small wrench with one hand? TIA

How about stubbies in that magnetic one, to box lid, will they hold upside down when close lid? Is it too wide for fitting the stubbies?
Hello I dont know if they will fit on that magnetic one. the magnet is not super strong I think if you will install on the inside of the lid when you close it they would likely fall. On the side of the tool box is possible if they fit. Not sure the stubbies you have are long enough. thank you
@@ExtremDIY yeah makes sense, kinda what I'm thinking. I have a couple stubby sets to figure out how to fit etc. Maybe to the side of cart but rather the lid. I have some gearwrench magnetic socket strips that are working out well, to cart side. They're way better than the harbor freight ones, I think us general

What are your drawer dimensions? I'm looking at the Magnetic Wrench Rack, but not it will fit in a 14.5" deep drawer.
Hello mine are 16 3/8 deep. The plastic rails are different sizes. Two are like 15 and the other 2 are like 16.5 and you put one angled with the shorter one straight. You can play with them to fit a 14.5 deep drawer or cut them a bit. Another way is to use the 15 inch set to make it work. I just went and move them around and you can make it fit on a 14.5 deep if you play with the angles. Hope it helps. Thank you
