Luv the way yu had to figure opening up both ends so az to chunk out that fat bottom part. Smart. Sealing from water was the kicker. Yu are too good

Brilliant result, the patterns in the wood, which are always unique, and the swirling reds of the epoxy worked so well together.
A question: is the epoxy tougher to ‘cut’ than wood, or does it depend on the hardness of the wood used? Keep up the great work/artistry! We need to see it ;-)

yes indeed epoxy resin is harder than wood even if certain species are very hard

Thank you very much for your comment I am very happy that you like this piece I make the aged woods myself by cutting them at the right time and leaving them to dry in a typically ideal place for this effect to occur😉

epoxy is a rot-proof material, you can add water and soil and this in no way alters the quality of this vase
