This one looks like a 3rd person RPG version of Total Annihilation crossed with Starship Troopers, which sounds sick - hope it's worth a buy, watching now.
Definitely has some TA and Supreme Commander inspirations.

The Riftbreaker is made for auto-aimers with 30 PREMIUM FPS doing macro-transactions for cut content giving out their personal data and that data is being exploited by publishers to inflate their scam and keep people in the loop. Welcome to the brave naive world. Developers of said naive world can't face the facts so they suppress, censor people. Outsource their dirty work to influencers which get high when they receive free merch.

I think it’s hilarious how you get an achievement that calls you a horrible. person for killing neutral creatures. You have to go out of your way to kill the large number of creatures needed for it.

its more because they wanted to turn the planet into a colony without strip mining it like the other planets they did she wasn't saying not to exploit it just to see if you can work with it the environment than push it out the way, aka where the alien tech comes in. you learn to work with it compared to destroying it.

I've just started, a little overwhelmed, but this game wowed me. As they say by the end of the video: a very immersive experience that puts most AAA games to shame.
Reminds me of that Love, Death + Robots episode with the bug infestation.
Been waiting for this game for years now. Really glad it's living up to expectations.

Played it for a few hours today. Much more action oriented and less scale driven than Factorio. Great game.

Insane an indie studio put out a game this good. It's so polished, well designed and just FUN. The team must have a lot of experience. Hope they rake in the dosh with this one, well deserved.

I love how chaotic this looks. And the effects and graphics are insanely good, and this is only 26 dollars. Before you mentioned this was an indie game, I thought it was a triple A title. This isn't my type of game. The action part of it I could totally get into, but the base building isn't something I'm interested in. That being said, I kinda wanna buy it lol, cause the swarms look really fun, and I wanna support devs like this.
I really enjoyed X-Morph Defense made by these guys. After that game I was convinced they know how to make a fun action game. Can't wait to try this one out.

@@guiseppeperceval4930 what mindustry lacks is the Graphics, raytracing and fuck tons of weapons, and enemy types.
This has ended up been one of my favourite games on PC for a long time.
Such a good mix of many great games, very well executed.
Great job by the Devs, worth every penny.
this game coming up with a free demo to test it in 2021 confused stunned me. i thought this great pro consumer practise is dead. had to think for a moment what a demo was.
They know exactly what they were doing. They likely didn't have or didn't want to waste 5 million on advertising. So they released a fully functioning slightly polished demo for us all to eat up. Then we drool for 9 months waiting for the game to be finished so we can throw our money at them. Investing your money in your game > Investing in game advertising. Let the product speak for it's self. Then the fans will speak their highly rated opinions of it to others. This game is going to do very well.

This game was well worth the wait and I hope they add more biomes to it in the future.
Playing on the Ps5 now, and the vibration/trigger haptic feedback is really well done. For example, the weapons all feel different and there's a notable 'chunk' in the trigger hardness when you run out of ammo, which is actually really helpful.
How's preformance? is there ray tracing on ps5?

I think it's the best looking game of this year so far.
You don't jump to different planets, you jump to different locations on the planet which have different biomes
I've had a blast on it. Free on Xbox Gamepass. I hope they expand it so you also fight military mechs like Supreme Commander.

I'm current playing this game on Gamepass and OMG it't so good. It's a mix of They are billions with a sprinkle of factorio and Starcraft... it's amazing and runs great

One thing that make this cool'er is adding factories to make robot tanks and aircraft. That you can command to explore and patrol with.
In Survival upgrading the HQ forces an attack immediately and resets the timer. Some players time their upgrade close to an attack, that way they get attacked once instead of suffering the timed attack+the HQ attack. I think it adds depth.
This may be the first game in a long time i buy near its launch.

Many People don't know that if you hold ALT while building things, you build the Max available Lvl of this building. No need to waste time for upgrading:)
Just finished the campaign, took me about 30 hours. It was amazing. About to Dive into survival mode. Brought it based just on this review highly recommended. and excited for co-op! 6 - 12 months!!

Well, it's definitely not boring. Tones of action and things to keep you busy. It's an ADHD'ers dream 😂
I got bored when they tell you to use the portal to travel to other zones on the planet, and have to start building the base AGAIN from 0, like maybe its me and i need time.
I played this game on gamepass for PC and it is a very fun game. I had so much fun until I lost track of time. From resource, defence and mech management are awesome and fun to play with. The skill trees are alot. And I always keep going back to make sure I build the best defence for my base. The mech fight is fun too. I can say this game is definitely worth a buy 😁😁😁
I have been following Mack since quite sometime. This time before I saw his review, I played the game because I have xbox game pass subscription. After playing the game 10 hrs in. Here I am sipping coffee and listening to Mack. I can actually tell he is genuinely right about the game. ITS FUN!
Also I have more faith in Mack's review than before. Just because of this 10 hrs fun that I had before listening to his advice whether the game is worth a buy or not and can literally say Mack's thought process is genuinely helpful. Love the channel more now.

Be aware that there is currently a game breaking bug in the campaign. There is a limited save file size, and if you build too much it won't be able to save the game anymore, and you can't travel between the different areas without saving. It's being worked on(tm)

yeh this is a really great game, at first it seems shallow but it just keeps giving and giving until you are so far balls deep in it its crazy, great game.
I’m getting this game on your recommendation my friend thank you I love it.
🙄Top down ruins it. No rotating camera ruins it. No alternate 1st/3rd person view ruins it. No large zoom out and base management mode hurts it.
I cant believe I’m going to play this again. Hope I find something to fall in love with.
I've already got 45 hours in this game, I couldn't put it down. I love the premise / execution of it. I got about 30 hours in before I found out about the alt button. I'd been spending ages upgrading my walls / buildings etc one stage at a time.
One issue I had with it is there's no repair brush or repair all option. Could do a building that can only repair between attacks. Some of the hazards like hail just damage everything and it took me about 30 mins to repair all the damage on my headquarters.
The meteor shower though, that's centred on your mech. Just run away from your base the moment you hear the warning, and it'll squish the flora and fauna instead of your base.
Had this on my wish list glad it's available now and will buy it soon
protip: you can click and drag to build multiple buildings (works great for the little power nodes when you are tryin to run wires across the land!)
Aren't these devs afraid of copy right issues? I mean, those bugs look exactly like zerglings and ultralisks...

It's not on other planets it all takes place on the same planet. The point is to open a rift gate to Earth.
I haven't heard of this game, it looks awesome. Definitely will check it out once it gets co op.

You’ll definitely like it if you found the combat in factorio lacking. The base building can be satisfying but it’s not even close to factorio. Definitely there for shooting hordes and hordes of bugs
@@justapairofnuts Sounds good, thanks for the feedback. Yeah I thought the combat was okay but was definitely lacking a bit and was hardly an issue for your base if you just kept it at bay. So having that flip in priorities will be interesting.

The game is really really fun. I wish the building spam was a bit less extreme but otherwise its really great and has tons of promise, especially once mods start appearing.
One of the best games i have played in a while, i heard they are thinking of coop too so would be fun.
Coop is confirmed but 6 to 12 months down the line.

So it's avatar done right by human terrorists I mean conquerers. Looks fun. But I love how if Mac loves a game there are tons of everything. Like his frostmage that is 2 buttons to press and 5 if you did not macro up
I know it just came out but i hope this game eventually allows modding. Its great the way it is but it would cool to see modders add other themes to this
it's 8.5 now with Mack - 6 months and patches updates etc. later this game will be 10/10 I reckon. it looks AMAZING! I hope it's on Xbox too

Some of the best game developers today are Indie because they price it right and there is thought put into the game unlike AAA money grabbing bastard developers, Game looks very fluid in movement.
