One of the best lessons, and very well narrated on better ways to get points across. Thank you very much for sharing your story, it really makes a difference
Are we ignoring the fact that he caused years and years of pain to another guy by drving straight into him and then delivered it so calmly 😂. But nevertheless, he helped me so much with making a persuasive speech. I have one tomorrow and now I’m feeling VERY confident
Thank you for this. I look for videos to show my college students so they don't get tired of hearing my voice! LOL. This is well done and your story illustrates the message perfectly.
I thank you so much for making this video. I'm an 8th grader and is using this for my assigned work. I'm confused about how to write these types of stuff, even though I'm great at public speaking. This is a big help for me so I send you my gratitude. 'v'
Full of Flaws (Aren't we all,) the video released right before this one might also be a help. ua-cam.com/video/ZB_j_Eu88wU/v-deo.html (How to Design a Presentation Quickly) Lots of other tips on our website as well.
Not really. All we are saying is to tell your audience where the data came from. (That is a story.) Most presenters just state their data in a long series of bullet points. (Boring.) Good presenters use few points, but tell the audience the stories (details) about the data. It is more believable and more interesting.
I understand the point but you were changing a CD and not looking at the road and did not have time to react-so were you responsible for the accident? Or at least partially responsible -could you have avoided the oncoming car? I am not sure if the way you tell it -is a good example, especially considering the guy was messed up for years. Am I wrong?
I am currently trying to do a persuasive speech in high school and it is on "Why Romeo and Juliet was the worst play and movie ever" but I don't know how to start. Can you give me any tips on how to write it please? The main ideas are: 1. the whole plot was unrealistic and happened within a few days, 2. The shakespearean language is a pain to understand compared to modern day english, 3. All the things that could've prevented the deaths of Romeo and Juliet (I'm talking about the movie here).
Yes seat belts do save lives that is a fact. There are certain instances that regardless if you were wearing a seatbelt you would be dead. The determine factor in those situations would be the car hit another vehicle going 100 miles per hour. The vehicle would be demolished no one would survive... So in that case the seat belt being used will not make a difference because you will die. So that's where the 47 percent of people who did die while wearing a seat belt did not die because of the seat belt. Correlation does not equal causation.
teacher told us to write a persuasive speech, never told us how. thank you

He said the other guy crossed over into his lane, so technically that guy was at fault -if that’s what actually happened.
