A poor selection of a cabinet for hi-gain sounds :(

In the early 80s I had a Peavey Heritage 130 watts if I remember right with 2x12 speakers. It was LOUD Wish I still had it

XXXmh, Vypyr tube mh(but with the original amps and settings with added noise gate), JSXmh, Ultra Plus mh, etc. Please Peavey?

The Invective amplifiers have really been my go to my second choice is a 6505, I had a mini Invective 20 watt head that sounded pretty identical to my Invective 120. Very impressive for the size, I recently sold my mini Invective head and now I want another one for home use. I use my bigger 120 for band practice and gigs, however I'm stuck on what decision to make as far as which 20 watt Invective to get.
There's a combo version of the Invective mh that I'm very interested in and also the mini head with a Peavey 112 Idk which one to go for both look cool. I can tell anyone hands down that the Invective is the best sounding amplifiers I've ever been around, I've been around all kinds of well known brands. My dad and cousin recorded bands and had a studio I had a chance to play a good bit of many amplifiers before making a decision on what amplifier I wanted.
Hands down I have yet to hear another amplifier that sounds as good to me as an Invective other than a 6505 but Invective is like the 6505 with nice sparkly cleans. I talked to John and he said that he designed that Invective combo to be very reliable and durable. It's a hard choice but both the mini head and combo are great looking
The classic series seems like it would be great for that classic kind of distortion

The invective rules. I have the 120. My friend has the mini and I use that one enough to know it's awesome too. But I want that combo version pretty bad though. Happy invectiving sir!

Played the original big brother 5150 mk 1 for decades as my main work horse, it never let me down, pushed it to its limits on the road, in recording studios and countless rehearsals. It's indestructible. For this shoot out I'd say I'll go for the flexible Invective Peacey amp. Sucha wide array of options here with this one..

Idk what ever happened with the triple xxx from Peavey that would make a nice looking mini head as well, I really wish Peavey would make a 50 watt version of the Invective head as a smaller amp head than the 120 as well as wattage reducing capabilities. If you read these comments I know several people that would for sure buy a 50 watt version of the Invective amplifier. That would be awesome lol.
