I'm bummed NDR didn't let the participants write the songs for Germany's JESC selection. It doesn't mean the songs are bad, though, but I think the EBU should limit adult songwriters' credit to a maximum of 50% so the participants can rewrite parts of their songs.
My Top 5 (with comments) 5. Too cool - feels like she's trying a bit too hard. I see how it could appeal to a teenage audience though. The lyrics already seem to contain a lot of english, so they have to be careful with the rest of them because of the 60/40 rule. 4. All of me - not bad, but it just doesn't speak to me. 3. Komplett - catchy, but Jupiter is stronger imo. 2. Save the best for us - really cute, but seems a bit too cliche. I think they're trying to appeal to the juries with this, but I don't know if how much I would like it as a child. 1. Bjarne is using WAY TOO much Autotune. So that why he's so lowm btw his voice is so edited it's not even his voice btw and his moves are so strangers they're not confident and brave for such a big stage
