I'm bummed NDR didn't let the participants write the songs for Germany's JESC selection. It doesn't mean the songs are bad, though, but I think the EBU should limit adult songwriters' credit to a maximum of 50% so the participants can rewrite parts of their songs.

The lyrics already seem to contain a lot of english, so they have to be careful with the rest of them because of the 60/40 rule. 4. All of me - not bad, but it just doesn't speak to me. 3. Komplett - catchy, but Jupiter is stronger imo. 2. Save the best for us - really cute, but seems a bit too cliche. I think they're trying to appeal to the juries with this, but I don't know if how much I would like it as a child. 1.
