I am going to try and crochet that lovely blanket later. I have been crocheting for 25 years and am still learning. I have been crocheting Barbie doll clothes for my young niece. She is loving it as well. I will try and make your lovely blanket for her too. Many thanks.
I’ve been crocheting for decades and I’ve never done the stitch you do instead of the turning chain. I love it! It makes the edges so nice and even. I’ll be using this all the time now.
This was such a wonderful easy pattern. I make prayer shawls and do one a week so always looking for something nice but gender friendly. This pattern is not a yarn eater either. I did a 20x62 inch shawl with 17oz (819 yards) of red heart ombré. I always use a 7mm hook but crochet very tight. I started with 210 stitches but I always start with SC foundation row. Thank you so much for such a nice pattern I always love your work!
Yet another beautiful stitch and pattern for a baby blanket - I don’t know how you do it. Many thanks for the inspiration and knowledge to attempt it myself. You’re a star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi there just a simple thank you thru the years being subscribed to your channel I've done so many of your patterns, one I'm still working on is the stacked granny stripe blanket. It is huge. Hopefully just in time for the fall .
I love this mini chevron! So pretty! And ever since I first seen how you do that stitch instead of the chain upon turning, I've been using it! Absolutely brilliant! No gap. Thank you so much for sharing!
Of course Ripple is pretty common. I had just watched video making the Ripple stitch. Then you post this “semi” Ripple which is 😀 FANTASTIC & much more inviting & I think far better looking 🤩 Many thanks!
I love this pattern. I made my great niece a baby blanket in this pattern. However, you are very brave to change colors every two rows. I just used a variegated baby yarn. Thanks for another great video.
I love this mini ripple! I always use your beginning stitch instead of chain 2 or 3. In the States a lot of ppl call it the stacked sc (stacked dc in UK) bc they literally stack on one another. I learned it from you 1st so TY. ❤️🧶
This is so beautiful. I want to whip up a new shawl quickly and came across this tutorial coz I love chevrons. And I love this mini chevron stitch. Its easy n so pretty ❤ Thank you for ur beautiful tutorial.. Well explained as always 😊
Hi Rebekah This is lovely version of the Ripple stitch, another one to type up and put in my file of your brilliant tutorials. Thanks for sharing. Take care Hugs Amanda from Lincolnshire xxxx🥰🥰
@@BlossomCrochet my original goal in learning to crochet, a little over a year ago, was to make a ripple afghan. 😄 Now that I've "mastered" one ripple stitch, (and almost mastered straight edges thanks to you), I realize that ripple isn't the "apex of crochet" I had originally thought it was. But it's still a lovely and very versatile pattern.
Okay....my To Do list is really getting long. But no worries, keep these awesome, beautiful tutorials coming. I'll just keep adding. Thanks again Rebekah ❤
Love the Ripple stitches, I have done wurit a few in double size bed, & single size, as well as the baby rug. Love your tutorials Rabecca..thanks for sharing....lots a love 💟🤗💟
Hello, again. ❤ I love this pattern. I am almost finished with it and I love it. ❤️ I have a question, as I finish do I just hide my ending knott ?. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. God bless you 🙏!!! ❤
Thank you for another pretty ripple stitch blanket Rebekah iv just finished a baby blanket from your chevron pattern and it worked up beautifully , can’t wait to try this one next 😊Amanda xx💕💖
I love doing ripple stitches but I have always had a problem with the stitch count going awry for me…. I really have never understood why, but I’m thinking that possibly I didn’t understand that the count shifts while making the new peak. It is much easier to get off count when you’re doing a sharp ripple such as a eight or 10 stitch up an eight or 10 stitch down type, but I’m thinking maybe this shorter one has given me a clue. Lol. Thank you so much Rebecca for your great tutorials. I always love your work and can recognize it before I even see the title on the video because of your color choices are always so gentle and soft. Thank you again.!
Beautiful stitch pattern! I love this mini chevron style... can anyone suggest a border for this? Especially the beginning and end so that they are straight❤
What a beautiful charming delicate baby blanket! So enjoying this lovely lacy look. I would love to put a border on this as well. I have no idea as to how to go about making the chevrons straight. Is there any way you could do a quick tutorial on how we could achieve this? Thanks so much for all of the beautiful work you do!
I love your tutorial; so I subscribe and click on the 🔔. I started this pattern, and I have a question: How do I stop the foundation row from curling up? Thank you so much for sharing your talent! ❤ Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Have a blessed night. 🙏❤️ P.S. thank you for the that new, we'll for me it's new. That no change one turn thing. I love IT!❤ ❤️ ❤
Thank you for your wonderful instructions. I am using a variegated yarn so I do have a question. When I come to my first turn, how do I start the next row? I feel like I can do that ok, but since I am not adding another color, I still want your wonderful instructions. Thank you for your help.
I have made this for my granddaughter it was so simple to do Thankyou for your brilliant instructions I have a question I want to do a border round the blanket how do I make the top and bottom straight please.
Hi Blossom. Love all your posts. I seem to struggle with I think my tension with the dips. The stitch isn’t nice and close like yours . But in the peaks I am fine. I wish I could send a picture as hard to describe . Would you have Any advice ?
Love the gentler chevron. I’m a convert of your beginning treble. It gives such a straight no-gap edge. Old dogs can learn new tricks😂 Do you have hints for tightening the stitch over the valley please? I’ve tried different ways of holding the yarn, holding the yarn tighter etc. with no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 🙏
Thank you for this pattern. Love this and want to make a baby blanket for a charity I crochet for. Can you tell me approximately how much yarn I would need for a baby blanket?
Lovely tutorial as always. Very clear and easy to follow. Can I ask what type of crochet hook you use? I'm new to crochet and am unsure which is the best hook. Thanks
Hi, this pattern is lovely, as I'm an amateur at crochet, ,Im trying to do various patterns, step by step, The one I'm doing at moment is plain with sc.for premature babies at local maternity hospital. However, is there any way I can purchase these patterns, though, you demonstrated the lesson step by step. Many tutors are not as helpful as you. They-re far too quck for me. Thankyou for the lesson, much appreciated. 😍
Hi - you can use absolutely any yarn that you like and just use whatever hook size your chosen yarn recommends 🌸 For example, I’m using DK yarn and the recommended 4mm hook ☺️
I thought it was going to hard for me but I played your video at half speed and I could then follow it. Thank you so much!
This could not have come at a better time!!! I needed a chevron that isn’t so “in your face.” Love it and appreciate you so much 😊
Thank you so much and I’m glad you like it 🌸☺️

It's so neat, isn't it!
I just found a blanket in this stich in my mom's old yarn. I didn't know how to do the pattern to finish it. Now I do. Thanks

I’m really glad you like it! 🌸

How many chains do you suggest for baby blanket
I suggest at least half a yard to a yard. Depending on how old the baby is. God bless.
Lovely tutorial as always. Very clear and easy to follow. Can I ask what type of crochet hook you use? I'm new to crochet and am unsure which is the best hook. Thanks
My favourites are the Clover hooks - I like both the Soft Touch and the Amour ☺️
How do I do a straight edge for this one as the usual ripple edges won't work for this. Love this tutorial and enjoying it very much. ❤ Many thanks

I chained a multiple of 10 + 2 for my desired width. At the end of the first row, I had a dip at one end and a peak at the other. 🤔
looking for written instructions for this. it is beautiful
When changing colors did you cut off the purple yarn after starting the blue?
Really love this pattern but wondering if there’s a way to stop the foundation row curling up?
Love it but is there a border?
What border would you use on this beautiful blanket just making it up in 1 colour 😊😊❤
