Having to buy a case for your phone to me is a design flaw. Cellphones are meant to be thrown around pretty much on a daily basis, manufacturers ought to consider that when designing a phone. It's kind of like if you bought a new set of tires for your car and the retailer tells you to only drive a maximum of 50mph so they don't take damage.
Til this day my Nexus 4 is still running smoothly on anroid best version 5.1.1 while my iphone 5s(!) struggling to run ios 9.3.1. Now i can say that pure stock android phones are better.
on the web browsing test I think the nexus won because the iphone was still loading stuff on the status bar but nexus finished loading all the page faster without even loads in the background
I'm really pleased with what Google did with the Nexus 4. I usually cannot afford high-end phones as I am not old enough to get a contract. The Nexus 4 is right up there with the big boys and rightly so. Can't wait to order mine! :)

You must be missing something. Android is not more complicated, it has more features and customization options. My dad has the iPhone and I can say that IOS is really dumbed down. Please explain why android is so complicated.
I highly recommend that in future comparison reviews you use the same browser. The iPhone had Chrome on it so I'm not sure why you were using safari to compare to chrome.
Try putting custom ROMs on the Nexus 4, which gives it the ability fix the contrast on the screen (removing any yellowish-white appearance), overclocking the CPU so that performs even faster than it does out of the box, and also equip it with a hacked custom camera which gives it better quality photos and video as well. Just one of the many reasons why I will always prefer a high-end Android device over a high-end iPhone.
About the white balance on the Nexus 4, I highly recommend getting the Nexus 4 Display Control app. set it to 245, 235, 255 and you're good - colors are spot on :)
were the phones connected to the same wifi source? it seems like if they were each connected to their own individual wifi link, it would be a more fair test, and i would assume that the iphone opens game apps faster because a lot of games for mobile phones seem to be designed specifically for "the app store"

Nexus 4 runs true multitasking, widgets, live wallpapers, etc., and is still faster then the iphone 5.

In other words the comparing the iphone 5 to the nexus is like a ferrari vs gtr. A ferrari looks nice, more praised and expensive and the nexus is a bargain for performance.

I put my nexus next to my buddy's iphone5 and looked at the exact same beach pictures and the difference was hardly visible to the naked eye. The nexus is faster in nearly every aspect, it has about equal battery life, way bigger screen, and I've dropped it about 3 times with a 20 dollar case and there are no scratches or damage done to it.....It is currently 0 dollars at most cell phone carriers with a 150 dollar tab. The iPhone is about 500 with a 150 dollar tab. Nexus 4 crushes the iphone5.

Many Android products feel too plastic/bulky. The only Android phone I actually liked the build quality/aesthetics of was the Atrix HD. That kevlar coated backing felt great and that plus the contoured shape kept it secure in the hand. It had heft, compact build, nice bright screen, good call quality, etc.
You can't really gripe about it if it only costed $300-350. For $599-$649 you can get a HTC One or Galaxy S4 Google Edition and get LTE capability if it's that important for you
Both are great phones! Stop fighting over which one is better! Some people prefer one over the other. Stop trying to get people to like what you like. Everyone is different. I personally like iPhone better but that doesn't mean android phones suck.

Guys the new nexus 5 has been leaked in a video by google! It was saddly taken down a couple minutes ago... It was when they were revealing the statue and at 0:38. One of the googlers was taking a picture with the new nexus next to someone holding the old one. There isn't much to see, but it looks like its platic, will have at least a 5 inch screen, and it has a gigantic camera lens. I'll try to find the video! I was considering downloading the video, but I was too late...
just bought an iPhone 5 for £529 of the apple website. I don't care about the price. and yes i know the 5S is coming out but i couldn't wait. Owned a HTC one... great phone but drove me insane. Isn't the Nexus 4 downscaling HD video as well? Because the buttons take up some of the screen space, leaving less resolution left for video.

I just bought a nexus white, and I also owned an iPhone 5. They are both great phones. Piete clean experience in both. No touch wiz or sense crap.

S4 is also many months newer. S4 = $650. N4+N7+Chromebook = $698, so get three devices for your one.

On the web browser test, you were using 2 totally different browsers. Try and find the same browser in both markets to get the best results.
iOS and Android are some of the best OSes out there for a mobile device. Each can borrow ideas for each other but Blackberry OS 10 isn't so

@pocketnowvideo I think Chrome at the time of the review had not been optimized for the devices. Stock Android Browser is usually optimized for proc.

Guys the new nexus 5 has been leaked in a video by google! It was saddly taken down a couple minutes ago... It was when they were revealing the statue and at 0:38. One of the googlers was taking a picture with the new nexus next to someone holding the old one. There isn't much to see, but it looks like its platic, will have at least a 5 inch screen, and it has a gigantic camera lens. I'll try to find the video! I was considering downloading the video, but I was too late...
just bought an iPhone 5 for £529 of the apple website. I don't care about the price. and yes i know the 5S is coming out but i couldn't wait.
Owned a HTC one... great phone but drove me insane. Never owning an android device ever again unless it is a nexus. but for now i'll stick to my iPhone.
