I do agree with you. Luckily , my own Mom was exactly same way during my 1970s to 1980s childhood with Prairie style clothings including bonnet and boots when Little House on the Prairie was on TV to preppy/military combination styling during my teenage years! 😘

Those American Girl body books are CLUTCH for young girls. I'm 27 and I still have mine because of how important I think it is, I may never have kids but one day there may be a young girl in my life who I want to pass it down too. Good for you Momma!
Yes keep them! I passed all my old girlhood books down to my niece - she’s in LOVE with Babysitter’s Club and Nancy Drew! I’m going to buy her some American Girl books for Xmas (unfortunately I don’t have any of those left) 👍👍

I got my daughter the first one of those American Girl books and she has read it many many times. They are so good! At 9 years old she is able to talk to me frankly and without embarrassment about all the stuff discussed in the book and I am so grateful. It’s a great way to introduce all those topics!

I started doing deliveries to make some Christmas money, and it makes my DAY when a house has a little treat for me! Even a little Reese’s snowman made my day! I also have to take my daughter with me since we can’t afford daycare, so it makes her so happy when she gets a little treat.

My mom and dad did the ornament for me and my brother. I've now carried it on with my son. I think the best part for me is watching him pick an ornament thay reflects his personality
